The next night, Romeo recovered from the bullet and he went to Whyte Worm and reunited with the group New Kid on the Block. Until the Serpents show up to meet the group once again.
Toni: Well, well, well. Welcome back, Romeo.
Carter: Guys, this is Toni Topaz, Fangs Fogarty, and Sweetpea. Those are the members of Southside Serpents. This is Tommy, Cesar, and Luis. My friends Bobby, Zurich, and Romeo.
Fangs: Nice to meet you guys. I heard you guys can perform Variety Show competition.
Romeo: Before we talk about the competition, three of you guys can join us so we can tell the story.
Toni: Sure.
Fangs: I'll grab another chair.
*2 minutes later*
Romeo: My group is really kicked in it and faces the other group. I'm not interested in the competition. Every city of the groups can bring up to our place in Riverdale, New York for the variety show. I'm in the leader still. Frenemies. The other group's name is The Bellas. They're from Louisiana. I haven't met them yet. My group did. I ask Thomas to take over as my leader for the competition.
Toni: The Bellas? It's a girl, right?
New Kid: Right.
Thomas: We just met the group and we didn't go well and the leader acting like they wanna win the competition.
Cesar: That pity leader.
Luis: We're gonna win. Trust me. We just saw The Bellas right in the town hall.
*flashback*
*Three weeks ago*
*At the town hall*
New Kid on the Block practiced for the singing notes from outside and sees The Bellas.
Cesar: Woah, what are you guys doing out here? You must be The Bellas.
Chloe: We're performing outside so you boys can't be singing outside.
Ashley: *looks at them*
Flo: You weirdos performed in the Whyte Worm.
Carter: Why should we?
Thomas: Y'all not allowed to be here. Why were you guys performing in your hometown? I'll tell you what if you wanna perform outside, why don't we do riff-off. Team vs. Team.
Beca: Ok. Challenge accepted.
Thomas: *smirks*
Aubrey: *tries to sing first*
New Kid: *sings Mickey*
Aubrey: Whatever. *walks back to The Bellas*
New Kid: *keeps singing*
Aubrey: *have an idea and walks back to New Kid and sings Hit Me with Your Best Shot with The Bellas*
New Kid: *watching The Bellas*
Thomas: Hold up, it's all clear to the riff-off.
Beca: What clear? Isn't that you didn't like to make a win the competition in one month? Also, we stayed in New York for the hotel until the performance is over. Regular riff-off and car show is next week. You should be ready for your psychopaths. The car show is to welcome another group that can battle to the Variety Show competition as well. We have two groups. One more group to the car show.
Thomas: We have our time.
Bobby: You ladies better make up your minds. We're coming to the trophy and kicked y'all assess. Three groups. And also, we have another member to join us in the riff-off.
