Enoch and Naglfar stood before a building of grand architectural design surrounded by a thick outer wall with a stairway leading up and into the building. The building was so big that it looked as if settlements of people could live there as it mimicked the size of a small town.

As they approached the stairway they were halted by two guards, clothed in unique armour made of gold; the shoulder plates curved up and the rest of the armour covered their entire body. Their helmets were modelled to represent the head of a fish.

The leftmost guard stepped forward, “What business do you have here?” He said in a suspicious and assertive tone.

Naglfar turned to face him before bowing slightly, “We have come from the South. Director Njall has instructed that we seek Master Falkor, he’ll be expecting us.” He explained before the guard turned to look at the soldier to his right, thinking slightly.

The leftmost guard turned back again, “I’m sorry but Master Falkor is not here at this present time, you’re welcome to wait for his arrival though. I shall show you the way inside, follow me.” The guard explained to the two warriors before Naglfar interjected.

“That’s a little troublesome, do you have any idea when he’ll return?”

“No one knows of Master Falkor’s whereabouts when he leaves the temple as it’s for his own safety. Now please, follow me.” The guard replied before turning to walk up the stairway, Enoch and Naglfar followed.

The two warriors followed the guard into the building; the first of the chambers was in fact a giant courtyard filled with plants, trees and a small reservoir home to various fish. It was the main sector of the building, taking up almost three quarters of the space. Many monks and other people could be seen meditating here.

The other sectors branched off into the distance, mainly sleeping quarters and food preparation areas. The guard pointed them over to one of the sectors north of the courtyard, “When Master Falkor returns he’ll be in this room. Until that time I pray that your patience sustains you.” He stated before leaving them to return to his post.

Enoch looked around, noticing the dramatic differences between the place he was standing in and the Einherjar headquarters. “Say Captain, how long must we wait?” He asked in a calm manner.

Naglfar stood patiently, “However long it takes, we have nothing further to do. Why?”

Enoch sighed before preparing himself, “In that case, there are some things that I must tend to. I’m not sure how long it will take but you can take care of matters from here.” He said before leaving. Naglfar said nothing, letting his partner leave to take care of apparent pressing matters.

Upon entering the Jotnar domain of Ikol, Baldr peered around the entrance hall. The place was slightly narrow but tall, ranging far up high with a stairway at its back trailing off left and right to adjacent hallways.

The floor had been decorated with a long red carpet which also flowed up the stairway, accompanying the carpet were numerous stands with pieces of armour attached. They looked mainly for decoration but had a battle hardened look about them.

Light shone through the stain glass windows of the fortress, illuminating the area within and reflecting off of the armour. Although few soldiers were present one stood out in particular, a woman dressed in a casual white robe and leggings.

In an instant she ran toward Baldr and hugged him who in return felt compelled to hug back, “I’m so glad you’ve returned! You’re back safe and sound!” She said, not letting go of the man.
