"Are you deaf?"

"Ria. Sorry George, I said that you could just reset the world."

The hairs on George's neck stood up.

"Reset? . . ."

He could almost hear Ella nodding.

"Yeppers! Just go to the restart point and press the big red button!"

There was a pause, a freeze, a split point where George felt woozy and dizzy.

Lights surrounded him, blinding his eyes.

He couldn't move. He couldn't breathe.

He could only hear what was happening.

A loud staggered beeping flooded the room.

"George? George, are you awake again?"

He couldn't respond but he hoped he wasn't.

"George, it's gonna be alright."

They shouted for a nurse and stared back at George.

"Just stay here okay? If you need help just look in a mirror."

That's what they were trying to say before.

It all made sense now!

It was a dream, nothing was real!

But his feelings were, and he wanted to stay here.

He didn't want to go back, but he felt like he had to.

"George just take deep breaths"

George took a deep breath in, it felt refreshing.

Unlike when he was in his dream world, the air felt real.

In his world the air felt like plastic when he breathed.

He envied this world.

A doctor rushed into the room; he couldn't see them very well but their shoes were clicking against the floor.

The doctor talked to the person sitting next to George in a rushed tone.

George's consciousness was flickering in and out of this world.

He knew it was time to go, but he didn't want to go.
