It was my last period, I checked which class I had next, which was my least favorite, PE…

I grabbed my phone to see what time it was, it was 1:43. I ran to my locker and put the stuff I didn't need away and sprinted to the locker room.

My migraine wasn’t helping me AT ALL during PE. Flashes of pain made me almost pass out three times and the teacher just brushed it off as nothing. I walked to my locker to grab my stuff. All of a sudden, I hit the concrete floor, and I heard people around me faintly saying, “Dude you okay?!.”, “Get the teacher now!”, “Damian you okay, bro?”, and then I'm completely out of it.

When I woke up I looked around to see a beige white room with a desk. And the all too familiar fluorescent , blinding lights. From what I could see, my eyes were squinting, I assumed I was in the nurse's office.

“What happened?” I thought, I couldn't remember what happened, at all. The only thing I remember was walking to the locker room,

And, passing out?  But another question raced through my head, “Who brought me here?” but before that was answered the nurse came in the room,

“Oh, you're awake.” she said with a smile that soon faded.

“Do you know why you passed out?” she questioned. A question which I couldn’t answer. But I responded politely,

“No, I don’t know.” I replied with a sleepy sounding voice.

“Do you know what might have caused you to pass out?” She questioned while sitting down slowly on the bed I was now sitting up on.

“Well, I have had a really bad migraine since this morning and almost passed out a couple of times. I drank some water throughout the day but it didn’t help.” I said in a slightly shaky voice,

“Okay..” She emphasized the “O” and took notes on one of those really patterned and colorful clipboards, god knows where she got it from.

“Um…” I said quietly hoping she didn’t hear me.

“Huh? Is something wrong?” she said looking over with a puzzled and worried look on her face.

“I was wondering, who brought me here? If you know of course.” I said slowly but still having that shaky voice, and it was obvious I was nervous, I'm not a huge fan of nurses offices or the doctor for that matter.

“Oh, I think the girl's name was…” she paused for a second,

“Alivia.” she said like she just discovered a new planet or something.

“My sister?” I asked. I was very confused.

“Yep.” she said, emphasizing the “P”. She smiled at me, but for some reason it faded way too quickly, a shock clear in her eyes, and I didn’t understand why until I fell back onto the soft, uncomfortable pillow on the nurse's office bed. I passed out again. When I wake up I feel tired and dizzy. I hear faint talking. I can't make out who it was, though. I slowly open my eyes and look over to see the nurse talking to my… mom? I try my best to slowly and silently get up, my arms shaking violently as I do, the strength gone from them. My mom notices me and looks over at me, with a worried look on her face.

   “Damian!?” she said.

“Are you alright?” she says as she reaches the bed I was put on earlier and followed by the nurse, my arms giving out right then.

“I-I'm fine…” I say with a very obvious stutter in my voice. I was starting to think this was a dream, it was so...weird. She felt my forehead with the back of her hand.

“You're extremely warm.” she said with a very worried look on her face. The nurse then looked at me,

“Do you feel better?” she asked while looking like she was puzzled.

“Um...yeah actually, my strength is just weak.” It wasn't too long until we were in the car going home. I was so tired, I didn’t even pay attention to the last things the nurse said to me and my mom. When I got home I ran upstairs without a word and fell onto my bed and went back to sleep.
