Chapter 19...

As you all approached your next destination you couldn't help but think about the past. Everything that you've done to get your goal achieved. All the sacrifices you made, soon those were all washed away when you looked at a secret photo that you hid in Neo's car. Waiting at a red light you stare at the photo which made you smile as well as have your heart break. You see a photo of you holding Ombre when she was a baby, she has her hold hand grabbing into your finger, and she looked so calm in your arms. You were brought back to reality when you hear Cloud calling you.

Cloud: Hey jackass, lights green
(Y/N): I see....sorry *continues driving in silence*

You stop your car a few feet away from the house and get out. You leave your sword in the car and walk towards the house. A girl can be seen watering a few of the many flowers there, then she looks at all of you.

Girl: Hello. May I help you?
(Y/N): Yes actually, is your mother home?
Girl: *nods* Let me get her for you *walks inside*
Summer: So why are we here?
(Y/N): We need her
Velvet: The mom?
(Y/N): No, the daughter

The girl comes back out with her mother staring at all of you with a confused look until she looks at you in the eyes.

Woman: (Y/N).......been a while
(Y/N): Ifalna...
Salem: You know her, how?
Ifalna: I was Ombre's babysitter for when (Y/N) and Neo either had to work late or went on date nights. So need me to watch Ombre again?
(Y/N): *smiles* We both know she's old enough to take care of herself now
Ifalna: Indeed she is, so why are you here?
(Y/N): I need to talk to you, in private....please
Ifalna: O-ok? *walks inside as you follow behind her*

The two of you sit down at her dining room table. A silence filled the room as you two stared at one another.

(Y/N): We need Aerith to come with us
Ifalna: What?
(Y/N): We need A-
Ifalna: I heard what you said, but why do you need my daughter?
(Y/N): ...I don't know how to explain this....she and I have something in common. We both can connect to a place that others can't. And I need her, just in case *looks down*
Ifalna: In case of what?
(Y/N): ...
Ifalna: Answer me!
(Y/N): *looks back up at her and has emotionless eyes*
Ifalna: ....I........ok........just please......please make sure she comes back home to me unharmed
(Y/N): I will *stands up* might want to say your goodbyes to Aerith, and thank you Ifalna *walks outside*

You don't say a word as you walk to the car as Ifalna walks over to Aerith and talks to her. You sit in the car waiting for Aerith to gather some of her things, you grabs the photo you had in the car and stare at it. You look over your shoulder to see Cloud and Tifa staring at you.

(Y/N): What?
Tifa: Who's that? *points at the photo*
(Y/N): None of your damn business *you put the photo in your coat*
Cloud: What scared were gonna make fun of you?
Tifa: Maybe he doesn't want us knowing his real plan
(Y/N): It's just a photo alright
Tifa: Is it you and your wife Cinder told us about?
(Y/N): No....*takes out the photo and looks at it* it's.....it's a photo of the day my daughter was born
Cloud: You have a kid? She must be evil as hell
Tifa: Cloud!
Cloud: What?
(Y/N): Her and Neo are the real reasons why I'm fighting them
Tifa and Cloud: Huh?
(Y/N): Back in the our old world...I had no one...my family beat me, I was a lab experiment, my birth mother wanted to kill me, but all of that changed when I met Neo. She truly cared for me, she was the one person I could ever turn to when I wanted to show real emotions. And then came the happiest day of my life, the day my daughter was born. When she was born I was terrified, I thought I couldn't do this. But when I held her in my arms, all those thoughts washed away, it felt right holding her in my arms. *shows them the photo* They're my reason I try to be a better person, and do better. I want to make sure that they can live in a world where they don't have to fear if a Grimm comes and kills them or one where some war will break out. I want them to live in a world where they can just live their lives.
Tifa: ....ok, we'll help you out for real
(Y/N): For real?
Cloud: We were originally gonna try and figure out what your real motive what but...
Tifa: What you told us was enough to tell us that your actually trying to do better
(Y/N): Thank you

The three of you wait for a few seconds then see Aerith walking to your car and getting in.

Aerith: Mother told me why I'm coming with you
(Y/N): I see
Aerith: Let's hope that what you fear doesn't come true, (Y/N)
(Y/N): Yeah, let's hope it doesn't

You start the car and make your way back home, knowing that everyone will need training for the fight. But you needed to do something else. You needed to talk to Ombre again, you don't want to lose your source of happiness.
