Bakugo's POV

It's been about a month since the incident had happened. A month since everything went back to normal. A lot of things had happened and a lot of things had been forgotten. Eijiro and I had become official and hand actually gone on a few dates here and there. Kitsuki had gone back to his school and Kasura had returned to university.

I had officially apologised to Dunce Face and Mind Fuck about how I had treated them and what I had said to them. I also congratulated them on their relationship becoming official.

A week after returning, Eijiro had to leave for a couple of days. He had explained to me that he had missed his mother's funeral so that he could rescue me. I scolded him at first but then said that I appreciated his concern for me.

We had all agreed that we would be taking things easy for a while, as I said before, a lot of stuff had happened. I know lay on my bed with my boyfriend and was currently playing with his scarlet hair.

"How have things changed at home, Ei? You know... with how everything has changed?"

"*sigh* Well... With my mother gone, it's just me and mama now. Ellie was accepted into the music school she has always dreamed of and has moved to the other side of Japan to attend, saying that she will only visit on Christmas and any holiday breaks that she gets. Emma has started a fitness business further away, but nearby, saying that it will be open for free every year, when the entrance exams are getting closer. Ella is travelling around the world with her friends and boyfriend currently so I don't know when I'll see her again. And with me staying in the dorms, Mama has to run the ramen shop all on her own. I feel really bad though..."

"Why?"

"Because. I feel like I should be there for her. I need her to be with me. She's still grieving at the loss of her partner. She seems lost with all three of my sisters going their own ways, and she even said how quiet it's been with me at UA and in the dorms."

"But you get to see her every weekend and after school if needed right?"

"Yeah..."

"If I'm being honest, I think you are the one more lost, right?"

"..."

"Don't worry, Ei. I won't ever leave you. I'll always be here for you."

"Always?"

"Always..."

And I was. I was there with him through thick and thin, and he was there for me. Now we're pro heroes. Me with the Rank of Pro Hero 3, now known as Ground Zero and Ei coming up as No. 4 Pro Red Riot. We were living the best life. We had graduated together. We had bought a house together. We even got married about 31/5 years after graduation. We have a pet dog that we have named spark and a pet goldfish that is dubbed Jaws.

We're living the best life together and we wouldn't change it for a thing. Maybe somewhere along the lines we might consider children, whether it be through adoption, a surrogate mother or through some gender-changing quirk. Until then, we're just going to enjoy every moment we have together.
