Family

Bakugo's POV

I'm just sitting at the bench under one of the trees in the small garden near the dorms. I don't know what to do. Both of my brothers are here and to make matters worse, the Full Moon Solstice is approaching. And fast. I hear footsteps behind me. I don't bother turning as I know who it is. He joins my side and sits close. I lean my head against his shoulder, keeping my arm close to my chest. I was allowed out yesterday. My leg was fixed and so were my ribs. That was the main reason why I was in hospital for almost two months. I don't know why the hag and the old man decided to bring Kitsuki and Kasura with them that day of my last hospital night. Why couldn't they just bring them today and keep it as a somewhat surprise for me? Instead they wanted me to know that they were staying.

"So... you and your brothers have a good relationship. You and Kitsuki in particular." Eijiro says suddenly.

"Tch." Is all I manage with a small chuckle on the end that he only just caught. "Like you and your siblings could be any worse. You've got three sisters, all collage age, right?"

"Yep. But we're the absolute opposite. Sure I'm the only male in the house, but they love me so much."

"You never talk about your family. Only some people do. I only just knew that you have 3 sisters, Raccoon Eyes has a brother. I don't know about Dunce's Family, Soy Sauce's family. Nobody like that."

"Would you like me to tell you about them?"

I smile and nod softly. He begins.

"Well. They're triplets. Emma is the oldest with a quirk of super strength. She loves anything to do with sports or fitness. She helped me train for the Entrance Exam and the Sports Festival. Ellie is the Second oldest; She loves music and is the most energetic of them all. Her quirk is Softening. Basically the opposite of my own. She's planning to go to a prestigious music school further away. Ella is the third oldest. Her quirk is shark. Only her and I inherited the shark teeth from Mum. Mum's quirk is shark and then there's Mama; whose quirk is matter. If a large enough impact hits, she's as hard as rock, but if she's being hugged, for example, she is the softest person ever."

"They sound amazing, Ei."

"Thanks. I miss them terribly though. I miss Emma picking me up and sack carrying me around the house. Ellie bursting through my door and playing the trumpet to wake me up each morning and the swimming sessions I'd do with Ella after school each day. I miss the quiet moments with my Mama watching the clouds, birds and reading under the cherry blossom tree. Not to mention going to arcades, shopping and cooking with Mum. Sure I'm the only male in the house but I wouldn't change it for anything. It's my family and it's perfect."

"Milo is an amazing brother." A new voice adds.

I look up and see that everyone else had joined us. Raccoon Eyes was the one that spoke. The whole class is sitting and laying around us. I didn't even realise that Dunce had sat next to me. I look at Eijiro and come to a conclusion. This was the plan all along. I don't mind, though, I can learn about everyone else's families and any siblings that they might have.

"He's older than me, sure, but he treats me with respect and like a brother, rather than a sister and I don't mind." Raccoon Eyes continues. "I like the fact that he doesn't limit what he does with me just because I'm younger and I'm a girl. He doesn't care what so ever."

"You guys are lucky. You are either the only child, have 1 sibling or two. Todoroki would be the only other one to understand, apart from Kiri, what it's like to have multiple siblings. But you wouldn't understand what it's like to have a large family, though... or to lose some one..." Dunce states, looking into the breeze and closing his eyes. "I have two older siblings; Devin and Lydia. Both are collage age and they're twins. I then have a younger brother; Kyo. I also live with my Mum. She's amazing. We also have daily visits from my Aunt, Uncle and my two young cousins; Vex and Hailee. My dad passed from a car accident..."

"Is that why you left the room after finding out what happened?" Ponytail asks.

"Yep..."

"I've never told Kacchan this but... I've actually got a twin sister. Her name is Izumi. My dad took her when he left but recently, Mum told me that she found her."

"That's so cool, Deku-kun!" Round Face smiles.

"I've got an older brother. His name is Kai and he's rocking! He's the most supportive LGBTQ+ Allie ever. When I came out to my parents about being trans, he acted as if he's always grown up with a younger sister and not a younger brother." Earphones adds.

"Come to think of it; Did we ever find out who vandalised the classroom?"

Everyone shakes their heads. Clearly not. We continue to sit outside when I notice Kasura and Kitsuki join us. I smile at my older brother but frown at my twin. I'll never forgive him for what he did to me. He changed my life and my perspective on people forever. Even breaking the sibling trust I had with him. One that would never be fixed.

I see a look of hurt form on Kitsuki's face. He can die with the knowledge that I hate his guts, never mend our trust, for all I care. I snuggle closer into Eijiro's shoulder and breathe in the warm air and the strawberry scent he's giving off. We sit outside for the rest of the morning, even doing our book work in the sun, too, until it's time to do training, in which I can only spectate and not join, thanks to my broken arm. I don't care though, I'll be happy to see Kasura crush my class and watch Eijiro fight.
