Chapter 4 - Finding You

With Justin's fever finally going down Magnus felt a sense of relief. He couldn't stop thinking about how much Justin has been so helpful to him and he would never be able to repay him for his kindness. The keeper of the Enchantameirum appeared and alerted Magnus that the Verdell Garden was known to have showers of magic draining rain that's why many magical creatures seek shelter. The keeper continued and said that Magnus should carry Justin and find shelter because she felt that there would be a major storm on the way. Luckily many of the plants are protected by magical barriers to prevent the rain from draining their magic. If the rain was able to drain the plants magic the plants would die. The keeper returned to the book and I picked up Justin and walked for a couple minutes and found shelter underneath a big tree. It had a hole like opening and I decided to rest here. I put Justin down and waited till he woke up. Not even a few minutes went by and Justin's whole body started to sweat and felt a rush of nervousness. I had no idea what to do but just before I could call on the Enchantameirum Justin shot up and screamed "Mom!" he was breathing heavily and stared at me and realized it was just a dream. I asked him what was wrong and he didn't respond, so then I proceeded to ask him how he was doing and he said fine. So I decided to leave him alone and I kept to my side of the hole in the tree. At this point the rain had already started and it started to pick up. Justin asked how I knew about the Anwir Rain and I responded that the Enchantameirum told me.

Justin responded "So you know nothing without that book."

Magnus continued angrily "I know a lot of things if I weren't here you would've died."

Things went quite Magnus noticed that Justin couldn't take his eyes off him.
Magnus started to get nervous and while Justin looked away Magnus found himself getting lost while looking at him. However, he quickly pulled himself together because his stomach started to growl. Magnus started to laugh awkwardly and he said that he hasn't eaten since the jet took off. Justin sighed and he said this tree can provide us food but Magnus looked at him bewildered like he was crazy. Justin said if you're one with forests like me you can request planet life for many things in the garden. They'll provide as long as you uphold the only rule they ask of you. Magnus responded and said that would be what. Justin said that we must uphold the rule to keep the forest healthy and flourishing. If the garden were to die off a lot of the districts would lose a lot of magic energy. Justin put his hand against the wood of the tree and the tree started to glow. Glowing particles started to dance around in the hole they were staying in. Then immediately the particles instantly turned into fruit. Magnus was amazed but didn't take it in for too long because he was so hungry. Justin couldn't seem to stop laughing.

Magnus looked up at him and said "What's so funny?"
Justin said "Nothing"

Magnus then said "I saw you staring at me a couple minutes ago.. is there something on my face, is that why you're laughing? Where is it tell me, where!?"

Justin said blushing "There's nothing wrong with your face and I wasn't staring at you."

As the night drew closer Magnus and Justin were sitting next to each other and then Magnus rested his head on Justin's shoulder and fell asleep and Justin rested his head on Magnus and fell asleep too. The next morning the both got up instantly and Justin said they only had a couple minutes left until the river guide returns back to the mainland. In a rush they grabbed the things they needed and made a break for the entrance of the garden. They made it Justin time the river guide greeted them and though out of breath they were off back to the jet with root in hand. In the middle of the trip Magnus was taking in his surroundings until he passed out. It went dark but Magnus could see a man that looked like him and someone else. Magnus got a glimpse of what looked like a wedding and he was the bride. It looked like someone had an evil plan set out for him and this wedding was just one step. However, Magnus realized that he's never seen himself so happy before. Then he got a quick glance of him sitting in a room with so much sadness on his face. Then he quickly started to wake up and it looked like Justin carried him all the way back to the water spirit. Magnus awoke with tears down his face and Justin asked him what happened Magnus couldn't respond because he himself didn't even know what happened.

Justin then said "Let's start changing this root into fuel."
With that being said Justin casted a spell upon the root the root was covered in a ring of magic and as the ring got brighter the root started to change into a liquid and Justin started to pour it into the jet. Then he said you're all set. The water spirit gave Magnus the guide to get to the next district and Magnus thanked the water spirit for everything and then turned to Justin and ran up and gave him a huge

and Magnus said "thank you so much, I couldn't have done it without you."
Then he pulled away from Justin and walked off to the jet then Justin grabbed his arm and said wait you thought I wasn't coming with you? You'll need someone as skilled as me with you.

The water spirit smiled and said "Magnus, please look over him."
Magnus shook his head and said thank you water spirit.

The water spirit said "You can call me Arledge and you're always welcome to my lake."

Magnus and Justin continued to the jet and flew off to continue their journey.
