Drifting Away

~Part 5~

The next morning I woke up and saw Max right next to me sleeping on the ground.

I woke him up ever so gently. He mumbled a bit then woke up.

"Hey gorgeous." Max said with the cutest smile on his face.

"Hey handsome" I replayed.

"So is it ok if I see your list now?" Max asked.

I quickly looked it over and added one extra point, then handed it to him with a smile.

Max took a while to read it over with some "umm" and "ahh" noises. When he was finished he looked over at me and said "Well let's go on an adventure!"

I walked up stairs and got changed when I was done I opened the door and saw Max standing there with his suit case and mine.

"Humm I wonder what point this is?" I said with a cheeky smile.

"Humm yes, You go down stairs while I pack for you!" Max said as he went past with the bags.

"Oh are you sure?"

"Yes, positive!"

"Ok" I then went down stairs and made some breakfast for the both of us.

The smell of eggs filled the room.

I finished cooking the eggs. And I severed them up.

"Breakfast is ready Max!" I yelled so he could hear from upstairs.

"Ok! Nearly done." Max yelled in reply.

Wow. I thought. He packs pretty quick especially for the both of us.

Max came down with both the suit cases and he looked like he was struggling a little.

"You need some help Max?" I asked as I started to walk towards him.

"No no, I'm fine." Max said half way down the stairs now.

I sat on the edge of the couch. I cringed as I watched him come down feeling useless with this machine.

Max finally came down and dumped the bags with a big bang and a big breath out.

"Want to eat?" I asked wanting him to rest.

"Sure." Max said. As we walked to the table Max grabbed the iPad on the way, must be to buy tickets.

"So you wanna tell me where we're going?" I asked.

"Nope. It's a surprise." Max said with a cheeky smile.

"Oh ok." I said as I resumed eating.

I absolutely can't wait until tomorrow.
