Drifting Away

~Part 13~

Max's P.O.V

It's been about a week sense we had that talk about having a kid but I haven't really found the chance to do something romantic for her. So I decided to drop her off to the spa so I could get the house looking really romantic.

"Hey Gabby!" I said coming down the stairs.

"Yes babe?" Gabby said giving me her attention. I walked up to her and sat right next to her on the couch.

"Um. Well you haven't done anything relaxing for a while and I was going to take you to the spa for a massage and whatever you want there and I will pick you up later on." I said. Gabby already had a smile appearing on her face.

"Oh thank you Max! I would love a day at the spa! Thank you again." Gabby said as she gave me a big hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Well let's go and I will drop you off."

Gabby's P.O.V

Max dropped me off at the spa and I waved him good bye. I knew exactly why he wanted me to get out of the house. He gave it way so easily. He wants to make the house all romantic so it could be a perfect time to make love. I didn't really mind thought, I'm just jealous that I have a husband that would do that for me.

I walked into the spa and went up to the front desk.

"Hello welcome to the Day Spa, how may I help you?" The nice lady at the desk asked.

"Um, may I have a full body massage?" I asked.

"Oh yes certainly. You can come through straight away." The lady replied showing me the way.

"Thank you." I said as I arrived to the massage room.

"Your welcome." The lady said as she walked away.

I went into the massage room and it was beautiful. The view was amazing you could see a closed off garden with small water features all around the room.

Then another lady walked up to me.

"Hello are you Gabby Smith?" She asked.

"Oh yes." I replied.

"Oh hello I'm Olivia and I will be your massager today. Follow me." Olivia said as I went to follow her.  

Max's P.O.V

I went to the shops and bought want I needed to cook dinner. I don't cook very often but I do know a thing or two about cooking. I was going to make her Risotto for the main and for dessert some red velvet cupcakes. It took me about an hour up at the shops to get all the ingredients for the dinner but I knew Gabby would be at the spa all day so I wasn't worried. As I was there I picked up a whole bunch of red roses to go towards the decoration.

I got back home and started to prepare dinner. I made the cupcakes first because they had to cool to decorate. So I made that first and I couldn't resist trying the raw batter and it was so nice!Then I poured it into the cupcake tray, I made such a mess but I will just clean it up later. I slid it into the oven and set the cooking timer. I then got started on the Risotto, I got a big pot out and chopped up then put all the ingredients into the pot. Then once that was done I put it all into a big dish to serve. Then I checked on the cupcake and they were rising perfectly. I decided now was a great time to just wipe up then bench and when that was done the cooking timer went off. I took out the cupcakes and popped them on a cooling tray.

Now with the cooking all out of the way I realised it was about lunch time and quickly made myself a cheese sandwich and ate it. I then got all the decorating stuff out. I cut the leaves and thorns off the roses and put them in small vases all over the house. Then I got a blanket out and laid it outside on the grass for star gazing after dinner. Then I put love heart bunting all over the house left from Valentine's Day. I then decorated the table with white and red all over.

Everything was perfect. I just had to decorate the cupcakes. I put the cream cheese icing on and put little love heart sprinkles on top. I looked at the time and it was 2:30. Time to relax.

Gabby's P.O.V

My full body massage was finished about lunch time, it was the most relaxing thing I had done in a long time. I then went out for a quick bite to eat and then went over to the Nail Salon. I got my nails done. I decided on the basic French tips.

After my beautiful nails were done. I looked at the time and it was about 2:30. What to do now I wondered. So I texted Max to see what he was up to.

Gabby: Hey babe? Finish my massage and got my nails done hope your not to busy but I'm not quite sure what to do now.

I went to sit on a public bench and Max replied.

Max: yeah not that busy here to but still pretty early for dinner. Wanna catch a movie?

I replied straight away.

Gabby: Sure I don't mind.

Max: ok I will be right over.
