"Max! Max!" I shouted as I came down the stairs as fast as I could.

"What! What's wrong?" Max asked with a scared look on his face.

"There's...There's..." I tried to chock out.

"What is it honey?" Max replied. I have never seen such a scared and worried look on his face before.

"There's a human growing inside me!" I said as both Max and I smiled widely with joy.

Max picked me up and said.

"Omg are you SERIOUS! We're having a baby!!!.. Oh, did I hurt you?" Max realised then put me down gently.

"Ahah don't be silly that wouldn't have hurt the baby. It's so small, nothing would have happened." I reassured Max.

"Oh that's so good!" Max said relived.

"Well. Do you want to come to the doctors with me then to see how far along I am. It will only be a few weeks." I asked.

"Of course! Let's go now!" Max said as he picked up my machine and lead me to the front door, grabbing the keys and locking the door.

We drove straight to the doctors. Max couldn't get the grin off his face the whole time.

We walked in and smiled at the friendly looking desk lady.

"Hi, how can I help you." She asked kindly.

"Ah yes..." Max started but I looked and him as a sign to stop and he did. I smiled back at him as a thank you.

"I have an appointment with Dr.Young." I said as I turned to give Max a cheeky smile.

"Yes. You may go right in." The desk lady replied.

"Thank you." I said as Max and I walked off.

"What? When?" Max said.

"Aha it's called a pregnancy test babe and I only took it a few days ago and I booked an appointment straight away cause it was positive. I knew you would want to go to the doctors straight after so I only told you today!" I said with a reassuring smile.

Max was completely speechless but he managed to say.

"You know me so well."

"Of course!" I said with a smile as I knocked on Dr.Young's door.

She opened straight away.

"Come in! Come in!" She said.

I looked at Max still seeing the shock on his face, then we walked in.

Max's P.O.V

"Wow it's been 6 weeks since that amazing night aye." I said softly grabbing a hold of Gabby's hand.

"Shhh. Max people could have heard that." Gabby said as she had a good look around.

"Know one would know what we're talking about." I said with a giggle.

"Well, some people might." She replied with a smirk.

"Do you think it will be a girl or a boy?" I asked curious for her answer.

"Hum." She said as she let go of my hand to feel her stomach. She rubbed around a bit the replied with.

"Not quite sure yet. Get back to me in a few months. Aha." Grinning with cheekiness.

"I will be definitely getting back to you with that." I said as I leaned in to kiss her on the forehead.

We got back to the car and drove straight home.

When we got home we both went straight for the couch.

"Well I guess we will have to get a room ready for a baby!" I said putting my arm around her shoulders.

"Hum. We will! But I think a name would be most important." Gabby replied.

"Oh yes! Of course! Humm. Any idea's?" I asked Gabby hoping she wouldn't ask me. I had no idea what to name our child.

"Humm. Well for a girl maybe Skye, cause it's a rare name. For a boy maybe Ryan, cause... Well I don't really have a reason for the name Ryan, I just like it. Aha." She said leaning her head down on my chest.

"Wow I really like those names." I agreed.

"What about you babe?" She asked. Oh no, I had no idea what to say.

"Babe?" She asked again. Oh! I knew just what to say.

"You might have to get back to me in a few months for that. Aha." I said with a nervous giggle at the end.

"That's totally fine. I mean it has only been 6 weeks. We have a whole 8 months to think about that." She said smiling up at me.

"We sure do." I replied as I reached my hand for her stomach. I rubbed it gently and she placed her hand above mine.

"Your going to be an amazing Dad." Gabby said. I tear started to form in my eye. I don't what to show her how much it hurts me knowing she won't be able to she our child grow up.

"Thanks Babe." I simply replied. Still having my hand rested against her stomach as I sobbed quietly to myself.
