We ran down the street looking for Tommy. I didn't really want to see him again after he punched me, but we had to. We saw him and his friends, tping a house. I rolled my eyes at the behavior.

"Tommy! Tommy!" Sonny shouted. We caught up at him and he saw us.

"What do these idiots want?" He asked. "I'll take care of this"

"We need that book" Sonny stated.

"It's really important. It's super important" Sam said.

"The book with the lock on it" I informed.

"Okay, okay. What book?" He asked.

"The one you stole from us, Tommy" Sonny answered in annoyance.

"Oh, yeah. I've got it right here" He responded.

"Oh, really?" Sonny brightened up.

"No, idiot" Tommy insulted.

"You better watch it" I warned. He rolled his eyes.

"Why would I be carrying a book around with me on Halloween?" He asked. "Now, go back home with your babysitters" He gestured to Sarah and me. "I'll be there in a bit to egg your house"

"Listen, you little punk," Sarah stepped in front of us, putting her pointer finger up sternly. "We're not the babysitters. I'm Sonny's sister and Alivia's my best friend. You're gonna give us that book back or I'll make your life a living hell. The only thing you'll use that toilet paper for is to wipe-"

"Okay. God, you don't have to be so mean about it" Tommy's tough facade crippled away, clearly afraid of Sarah. "Let's get out of here" They picked up their bikes. "Books at my house in my room. But it's hidden, so good luck finding it, losers. Heh, heh"

We heard shrieking in the distance, we all looked around trying to find the source of the laughter. We looked up and saw something flying around in the air. What the hell? The wind began to blow and the things landed in front of Tommy and his friends, causing all of us to gasp. The things were wearing all black, and their heads were bright glowing green. Their brooms led me to believe they were witches.

"Those are some awesome costumes" Tommy muttered, sounding a bit nervous. The creature screamed in his face and we all screamed in fear. The three witches lifted each of them in the air.

"Is this actually happening?" Sonny asked in disbelief. The bikes fell in front of us, the boys no longer on them. We yelled out in surprise.

"Guys, we gotta find that book!" Will urged. Sonny and Sam ran down the street and we followed after them. We reached the house and stopped.

"This is Tommy's house" Sonny informed.

"Well, I guess we just knock?" I said. We ran up the porch steps and to the door.

"Knock loud. He lives with his grandma" Sam replied. I did as he said and knocked as loud as possible without hurting my hand. No one answered so Sam rang the doorbell. We went to the window and saw her.

"Wait! Guys, there she is" Will pointed.

"She's asleep," Sonny said.

"I guess we'll just have to wake her up" Sarah began knocking on the window. We all joined in while shouting.

"Hello! Come on"

"Hello!"

"Hello!"

"Tommy's grandma!"

"Wow," Sam sighed. "Guess she's a deep sleeper" I went to the door and knocked one last time. When I didn't get an answer, I tried to open it myself.
