I looked over at the alarm clock I had just turned off and let out a sigh. I grabbed my phone off the charger and saw I had a text from Champ. I smiled to myself missing my best friend who was still in Madison. Will-Blake and I had moved away from Madison about a year ago, after the whole R.L. Stine business. Will and I are still teenagers meaning we couldn't live alone, so we moved in with the Carters who were family friends. I wanted Zack to come with us, but he wanted to stay with Hannah and Stine wasn't going to let her move away without him.
I missed them a lot, but I felt like getting away from Madison was good for me. Plus, the high school is great and it was nice not having your mom as the vice principal. It wasn't like I had no friends here, I had one or two. I had met Sarah Quinn, the older sister of Sam's best friend. And I was kind of friends with Sarah's boyfriend, even though I never really liked him. Plus, it's hard to hang out with any guys due to how possessive Will is. But, I know it's just because he cares about me and I try to not let it bother me too much.
Of course, we had many challenges living here. We had to make sure no one found out about Will being a werewolf. He can turn into one whenever he wants to, except for during a full moon. He always turns into one during the full moon even if he doesn't want to. Not to mention his inhuman strength and speed, him eating raw meat, and even his eyes changing color at times.
Just like Stine had told me, I do have a bit of werewolf in me. But, it's easier to hide because I'm mostly human. I don't have to eat raw meat, I just crave it at times. My strength and speed are the same as they always have been and my eyes don't change. I haven't even turned into a werewolf, at times I was convinced I didn't have any werewolf in me. Although, I got reassured I did when Sarah tried to give me a ring made with silver. It stung and I felt like I was being burned, I had to tell her I was allergic to it.
I read Champ's text and quickly replied. I moved Will's arms off my waist and stood up, making my way to my closet. I grabbed an outfit and changed into it. I heard a laugh and turned around to see that Will had woken up.
"Thanks for the show" He commented flirtatiously. I chuckled and rolled my eyes.
"I hope you enjoyed it cause you won't be seeing it again anytime soon," I said as I playfully nudged his shoulder. "Is your suitcase packed?"
"Yeah, I packed it last night...Do we have to go?" He asked.
"Mr. and Mrs. Carter are going away and we're still only teenagers, we can't just stay here alone" I explained. "Why are you so against it anyway?"
"I don't know these people" He answered as he fell back on the bed.
"You're really dramatic, you know that?" I said with a giggle. "I know Sarah and Sonny, they're nice and I promise that nothing bad will happen"
"You can't know for sure..." He stated. I rolled my eyes.
"It's only for three days, Will," I said. He still wasn't convinced. "I'll tuck you in every night"
"Deal" He agreed, tackling me in a hug. I lightly pushed him off and placed a kiss on his cheek.
I went to the bathroom to quickly get ready and then went to grab my suitcase. Will grabbed his as well and we made our way downstairs. I had trouble getting the suitcase to actually roll down the stairs and when I tried to carry it I almost fell.
