Chapter 3

"Hey what's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Did you ever get away with that answer?"

"No."

"So?"

"It reminded me of my boyfriend, he had eyes like a purple supernova and his life got wiped out with a bright light, just like a dying star."

"I'm sorry, I didn't know. You told me he got shot but not how he looked like. If I knew it reminds you to this day I would've shut up."

"It's not your fault, it's not that I would still love him, but it was the first person I ever loved in a romantic way."

"It's okay, I understand."

"You wanted to know why I won't stop giving you presents right?"

"Yeah?"

"As you know, I'm much older than you are, if I was human I would be in the same state of aging like you, but I'm more than three thousand years older."

"I know and?", I said while sitting next to him and laying my arm around him.

"Well, I will get older than you will. I will outlive you, maybe your whole planet. One day you will die, and I will sit there another thousands of years, alone, the kids moved on with their own lives. I know that one day I have to burry you and have to say goodbye forever, and there's nothing I can do except trying to make you happy and have the best time together, and if our time is over I'll probably go with you as I can't imagine a life without you anymore.", I was speechless I just hugged him and wiped away my tears.

He turned around and looked me in the eyes.

"Don't cry you will have a few more years with me.", he smiled and kissed my cheek.

"Love me."

"What?"

"We're on vacation, no reason to be melancholic.", he whispered and kissed me.

We deepened it while taking off our suits. I started loving him and as always his dots lit up the whole room. As we finished I placed my head on his warm thick skin and listened to his two heartbeats. The next morning I woke up with a shock, it hit me in the face.

"Mika! Where are you?!"

"Bathroom! What is it?", he came out with a towel around his hips.

"We didn't had any...you know... yesterday.", I said with a little panic in my voice.

"Oh, don't worry. I should've told you I changed back."

"You what?"

"I changed, I can't get pregnant again."

"Oh. So you didn't want more kids?"

"I....well I'd like to but I wasn't sure if you wanted more, so I didn't want to surprise you again."

"Oh okay, good.", I was a bit surprised he changed without telling me.

We went back to the dining hall to get breakfast as a voice from the speakers started: "We wish you a great day on our three day cruise. Today we will land on the planet below, called Barcelona. You will have the whole day to explore the city, at 8pm you will get beamed back up. Everyone will get a bracelet as tracker for the beamer to find you, also you will get a personal guide, to show you around and take care of you. It will start at 10 am."

"Did you hear that?"

"Yes, sounds fun."

"Let's eat and check it out."

"But don't give me anything disgusting, okay?"

"Okay.", we indeed ate something really nice, which was a sort of cereal with berries and went back to our room to get ready.

"Okay here's the check in I think. Hello, excuse me, but we're searching for the check in for the day trip to Barcelona."

"Sure. Sign here and you will get your bracelet, while I call your guide."

"Okay. There you go, your tracker."

"Thanks."

"Hello!", we turned around and looked down.

"My name is Johnny, I'm your personal guide.", a small kid with green blue skin, ocean blue eyes and two antennae said.
