Damian's Birthday Present

Marinette
I was currently lying on my bed reading a book when I heard something knocking on my window. I got up and sighed and just stared at the lonesome wolf sitting on the ledge. I looked at him blankly while he grinned. He pointed at the lock and I nodded no. "C'mon, habibti, I have a surprise for you.." he smiled innocently. "I said no."

Five seconds later he managed to get in. What in the world happened?! He smiled and looked at me awkwardly. I don't like where this is going...

Damian: My surprise is outside so we need to leave.

Marinette: Fine. Let's get this done and over with.

Damian: Well, it won't be surprise if you do that. C'mon..

He held his hand out and my suspicion raised. I sighed and rested my hand in his. He pulled it upwards, my body following. I landed in his arms...bridal style. He jumped onto the window ledge and was about to take off.

Marinette: I could do this myself.

Damian: Scared?

Marinette: No.

Damian: Do you trust me?

Marinette: ...Just this once. *blushes*

Damian: Hang on tight.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, his fur was the softest thing I've ever felt. I jumped and man did we land far yet so lightly on the roofs. He was moving fast but of course, not as fast as us vamps. We made it up a mountain that said 'private property' and stopped, standing upon the roof. He let me down and boi, did I ever see a view. The lights lit up the city below. It was beautiful.

This is probably Wayne property were on right now so that makes sense. Of course they bought the land... I'm not surprised. I looked down below, Was that even Gotham? He sat himself down like a dog. He motioned me to sit next to him and so I did. I sat next to him, leaning on his side stomach, removing my jacket and placing it over my front body. It was cold. Though I must admit..-

Marinette: This is the best birthday I've ever had. Thanks, Dami. *smiles*

Damian: ....Uhh..Yeah. What are soulmates for, habibti. I'm happy if you're happy. *blush, but the fur covers it up*

Damian
She thanked me and smiled for once. And she called me..Dami.. I couldn't help but blush back. About an hour went by and I thought it was time for us to return home. I turned to her, going to tell her, but she was asleep. She looked so adorable and vulnerable when she is. Not the vamp I know. I got up and picked her up, carrying her home. I laid her on the bed and placed the blankets over her.

I looked at her as she slept soundly. I brushed the bangs on her face away repeatedly. I pulled them back and kissed her forehead. Good night, Angel...

I woke up the next day and to my surprise, I was at home in my bed. He brought me home...didn't he..? *smirks* I have one hell of a soulmate. What did I do to deserve him? But one thing remains the same... he's gonna he the death of me... And his fur was so soft and fluffy and warm...I could sleep on it forever. I slapped myself out of my thoughts and got myself ready for school. I've got a new day ahead of me.
