Andy's Pov
The party was so great. And I was happy all the time. Most of the gifts were baby clothes, diapers, and toys.
"But Andy," Travis pulled me out of the crowd a bit, "You're not coming to LA tomorrow?" "No, we'll be supporting the B-shift, Robert is staying here too," I assured him. He nodded with relief and we rejoined the others.
The next day we had to be there early. I had to brief the others and tell them what they had to do there on site. "Maya, you take over my job there. The rest of you listen to the team that is in charge of everything there and don't you dare do anything else and step out of line," I walked up and down while the others stood there and listened to me. "And one more thing, please be careful and come back safely". Then they got into the cars, and drove off.

A few hours passed. I had a lot of paperwork to do. "Hey," Robert came into my office. I smiled. "Busy," he came over and massaged my shoulder. "Do you think she'll be here in the next few days," I looked down at my curvy belly. "Only you can say," he kissed me on the cheek.
Then the alarm went off. An ambulance was needed. "Shit, they B-shift is understaffed," Robert walked to the door. "That means we have to jump in," I got up and ran after him.
"Gross how stormy it is," we drove off and to the location indicated. "They're not serious, are they?", we arrived and already saw an ambulance into which a person was being loaded. The ambulance then drove away. "We just wasted 20 minutes of our lives," Robert said, rolling his eyes. "Then I guess we have to go back," I fastened my seat belt again. Unfortunately, the wind was getting very strong, so we clearly couldn't leave. "Great, that too," Robert looked at me. "Is everything good?" I screwed up my face, "Mhm, everything's great," I clung to the seat. "Do you have contractions?", he looked startled. I nodded and gritted my teeth. Okay, shit. Um...for how long?" "I don't know, maybe two hours intermittently," I shrugged. "Andy, you have to tell me something like this," he took my hand. "Okay very slow breaths". I did and it started to get better. "Maybe those are just Braxton Hicks ," Robert said. "No, I'm sure these are contractions". "Okay, we can't leave here now, the storm is too strong here we are safest". "It can hold off for many hours anyway", I leaned my head back.
About half an hour passed. We sat down in the back because there was more space there. "Every ten minutes," Robert kept looking at his watch. "Aren't too painful though, plus my water hasn't broken yet". "What do you need, is there anything I can do"? "Carina, call Carina. Maybe she can help us". Okay," he pulled his cell phone out of his pocket, "Hey, Deluca. Andy's in labor and we're stuck." I rolled my eyes, "Give it to me," I took the phone, "Every ten minutes and last half a minute. No my water hasn't broken yet," I nodded and then hung up. "We are supposed to go to Grey Sloan as soon as we can. But since we can't, we have to stay here and keep going". "What else can I do for you?" he stroked my back. "Stroke my back a little harder?", I said, having to concentrate on the pain. "You mean massage?" "Yeah whatever, do something to make the contractions more bearable," I said louder and a bit annoyed.
A long time passed, I had no idea because I had no sense of time. The contractions were coming more regularly and at shorter intervals. "The wind has died down," Robert whispered a while later. "What are we waiting for, let's go," then it went *plop* and my pants were wet. "Your water?" I nodded and looked at him. He put me in the passenger seat and I buckled up. Then he drove off, with blue lights. It was actually an emergency, so that was okay. "Is that okay," he looked anxiously at the road. "I don't want to deliver her in the ambulance, drive faster," I said, pained. We were lucky that it wasn't rush hour and there was no traffic jam. "We'll be right there Andy," he said and picked up the pace again.
Then finally we arrived at Grey Sloan. Carina and Dr Hunt were already there and were a bit confused because they didn't expect us. Robert got out frantically and organized a wheelchair. I got in and we entered the hospital.
Carina checked my cervix: "Andrea, you're at 8cm one more hour and we're ready to take the little one," she said, beaming as always. "Thank you," Robert stroked my head. "Where are the others, where is Maya", I asked her, "I haven't heard from them yet, I'm sorry", Carina's smile disappeared a bit. "I'm sure they're fine, now let's focus on them here," Robert tried to reassure me.
A while passed again and the pain got a lot worse. "And you probably don't want an epidural," he handed me a sip of water. "Well it's too late for that now, Andy you have 10cm it's time to push", Carina prepared everything.
What, no I'm not ready," I panicked a bit. "Everything will be fine, I'm here. Focus on me," Robert took my hand. "Andy, next contraction I want you to push as hard as you can," Carina said. I nodded and was ready. Then I pushed with all my might. "You're doing great Andrea," Carina kept motivating me. I squeezed Robert's hand harder than ever before. "One last time, the head is already out," she said. "I can't do it anymore," I said exhausted. "Hey, you can do it. Stay strong," Robert said, kissing me on the forehead. "Okay," I once again mustered all my strength and pushed. Then the whole burden fell off me and our daughter cried for the first time. Carina immediately put her on my chest and covered her. "Hello," I said, crying with joy. "You did great," Robert kissed me and I saw a tear in his eye. I smiled weakly. "Does the father maybe want to cut the cord?" asked Carina. He nodded and cut it. "What do you want to name the little one," Deluca asked. I looked at Robert, "Sierra Maya Herrera-Sullivan," I said proudly.

SURPRISE!!! yay she's finally here.
I just want to say something about the name: some people have suggested the name Sarah or something, actually I find that a bit boring so I made "Surrera" into "Sierra". No idea how you find it hahaha
I will definitely continue the story by the way....
