They're always there
In the back of our minds
Clawing to the surface
Demanding to be known
Creatures that only know fear
Hiding in the shadows
They are known by many names
The most popular being demons
They only want to cause
Pain, sadness, fear, distress
Breathing down your neck
Invading your every thought
Making you believe
In the darkness, demons
Live to make people suffer
Torturing their souls
Just for the fun of it
Until the time of their return
To Hell
