7. A Riker Weekend

--Next weekend--

It's time to hang out with Riker. At the great wolf lodge. I was so excited! But because of the bandages it would be hard to swim and all. We went on one of the slides and they said even if we are just friends we can't go on because friends mess around all the time and I wouldn't be able to swim so well. Then Riker thought of something right away.

"Well, you kind of ruined..." Riker said

I looked at him confused

"I was going to ask her on the ride" He said

I stared at him

"Ask me what?" I said

"May, will you be my girlfriend?"

My eyes opened wide in amazement. Then I noticed what he was up to. A smile grew on my face.

"yes!" I screamed

I threw my arms around his neck and hugged him.  He smiled and everyone went in awe.

"Fine then kiss" He said

"Say what now?" I said

They looked at me

"Um, oh...I um.." I said

"You guys liked each other for a long time right? and are really good friends? Then let's see a kiss" He said

Oh geez.

"Fine" Riker said

I started walking up to that guy so  I can slap him across. But Riker picked me up and kissed me. Again everyone went in Aw. I smiled when he pulled away. He laughed and then they let us on the ride. He grabbed my hand and smiled. When we got on the ride half way we started laughing hysterically.

"Did you see that?" Riker asked

"I forgot how much of  a good actor you are! I had to think for a second what you were doing" I replied

"I noticed that"

"Well I guess that's what you can call acting"

"You know we have to pretend to be with each the rest of the weekend"

"A risk I'm willing to take"

"Oh really"

"Yeah I wanna go swimming"

We laughed and then got of the ride. We started to walk around then Riker noticed he had to grab my hand. He slides his hand into mine and his fingers interlock with mine. We smiled and started walking around. It was a lot of fun! Afterwards we went back to the hotel room. I told Riker to take a shower first because I would take longer since of the bandages. After we were both done we left to the dinner downstairs. It was a lot of fun. A serious conversation now. Again!

"May, you ready for the whole the contest against you and Kendall?" Riker asked

"I don't know" I replied

"This she keeps postponing it. So we still want you to come next week to meet the family. First my parents and all You already met Ryland. Then the weekend after we are taking you to Colorado"

"Are you serious?"

"You cool with that?"

"Yeah"

"You think you're ready?"

"To beat Kendall? I can't wait"

"You know everything already?"

"It's Ross I can read him with just one look"

"You know Kendall is trying to make him ask questions only she will know"

"You have to be kidding me"

"Not at all"

"She still over your house a lot?"

"Oh yeah, it's so annoying!"

"I can only imagine"

"I'm happy for Ross and all, just I don't like her so much. I rather him date you"

I started to chock on my food.

"What" I said

"You alright there?" He asked

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine.....Wait is Kendall going to be there next week? I rather not meet her"

"We told Ross that she can't come already"

"Thank you"

"No problem"

I started playing with my food. Riker laughed, I didn't understand why but I left it. We went back to the room.

--Next Day--

Then the next day we did that same thing but ate dinner somewhere else. The roads were so bad though we didn't get home till ten thirty. I was still asleep and Riker carried me over. I was able to hear everything...I started to wake up a little but kept my eyes closed

"We were so worried the roads are so bad!" My mom said

"Sorry about that she fell asleep" He replied

"Riker we aren't letting you on the roads, it's really bad you're staying here the night. May doesn't have to go to school" My dad said

"I don't know" Riker replied

"You don't have a choice"

"I had that feeling"

Riker stayed the night.
