2. The Day After New Years

--Next Day--

I woke up and did my normal thing you know? Well I enjoyed my last day of break before I went to school. Ross called me up

"Hello?" I said

"Hey May! What are you doing today? Want to hang out?" He asked

"Sure! You're still in New York?"

"Yeah, but why don't I go to New Jersey? I can meet you somewhere?"

"Meet me at the Rockaway mall"

"Will do, bye"

"Bye"

I hung up and got really happy. I got changed and then asked my mom to drive me over. She did and dropped me off. I ran inside then remembered something. I never told him were to meet me! Will he even recognize me though? I had a batman shirt on with yellow skinny jeans.

See I wore something different when I met Ross. Hopefully he'll remember me. I went to the beginning of American Eagle by the food court and leaned against the window. I was playing around with my phone and some tapped my shoulder I quickly turned my head and looked to see who it was. I slowly looked up and saw Ross smiling.

"Looks like you found the place"  I said

"Yeah, you live around?" He asked

"Thirty minutes away"

"That's long"

"Nah, not really. So want to walk around or are you hungry?"

"I'm really hungry!"

"Have you ever been to red robin?"

"Yeah. Do they have one here?!"

"Yeah, want to go?"

"YES!"

"Alright then follow me"

"Lead the way"

We laughed then started walking toward Red Robin. We started to get to know each other better . It was so much fun! Once we got there I looked at him and stopped right in front of Journey's.

"What's the matter?" He asked

"Race yeah?" I said

"Oh you're on"

"Ready"

"Set"

"GO" We both screamed at the same time

We ran the rest of the way it wasn't long but some people got in my way so I had to be real agile and get through them. Ross looked back at me and saw what I was doing. He was about to run into someone until I picked up with my speed, faster then I was and ran into him. We fell on the floor laughing so hard. I was on top of him and I looked at him. He was already staring at me smiling. I laughed and then got up and helped him. We walked into Red Robin and asked for a table they said it would be about five minutes. There was little kids there as usual. One recognized Ross and walked up to him. He tapped on his leg

"Are you Austin from Austin and Ally?" He asked

Ross turned around and looked at him

"Yeah that's me" Ross replied

"Can I have a picture with you?" He asked 

"Sure"

Ross and the boy smiled for the picture.

"Where's Ally? Dez? Trish?" He asked

"Oh they aren't here with me I'm with a different friend" Ross replied
