I woke up early the next morning, then remembered the incident from yesterday. The thought made me just wanna go straight back to sleep and never wake up. I climbed out of bed anyway, it would be boring if I just stayed asleep anyways. My Dad said I could stay home from school because of what happened yesterday. And I still wondered, would I ever see Arnie again? Or would he ever come by to say sorry or something? I was missing him more than anything, but my heart still aches from what he said yesterday. My cat tried climbing onto my lap once I sat down on the couch, I sighed and pushed him aside, "Not right now." I said tiredly, I leaned my head back and stared at the ceiling. Tears were slowly pouring down my face, I wish I could see him, I really wanted to.

Then I remembered about my dream, when it went in front of that one house, and Arnie came out, could that be his house? I remember seeing that house before, it's not too far of a walk from my house. Wouldn't hurt if I at least checked. I shrugged my shoulders and got up, and headed to my room to change into some warm clothes. I stepped outside into the cold morning, and sighed and started walking.

After a few minutes of walking, I stood directly in front of the exact house from my nightmare. Then I walked down the driveway until I reached the front door, I gulped and knocked on the door, and waited for some to open the door. An older woman opened the door, it was probably his Mom. "Can I help you?" She asked, sipping on a cup of coffee "Does someone named Arnie live here?" I asked "Yeah, do you know him?" She asked "Mhm, is he here?" I asked nervously, "No, hasn't been here since yesterday." She replied, I sighed deeply and was about to leave before she stopped me "How do you know him?" She asked, "If he hadn't told you, I was his girlfriend." I responded "I'd have to have a talk with him when he gets back, would you want to come inside? It's pretty cold out here." She offered, I weakly smiled before answering "Yeah, thanks." I walked inside as she closed the door behind me. "Why did you wanna see him?" She asked, walking into the kitchen as I awkwardly followed her. "Well, an incident happened yesterday." I started, awkwardly leaning on the kitchen counter.

"Mhm." She said, taking another sip, "His car got destroyed." I looked down. "Oh, of course it's about his car." She sighed "Yeah, I've been having a problem about that as well." I mumbled, "But, he said something about not caring about me. And it was all because of his car." I responded, I could feel myself starting to cry, but I was basically talking to a stranger, and that would be awkward.

"That's no way to treat a lady." She answered, the anger sounded evident in her voice. "I know, but if he doesn't come back by the time I leave. Could you question him about it?" I asked, fidgeting with my fingers. "Of course." She replied. Just when I was about to turn the corner to leave, the front door opened, I realized who it was when Arnie's Mom started talking. "Oh, you showed up at just the right time, Arnie." She started, "What are you talking about?" He asked, confused. "Someone here would like to see you." She responded, Arnie walked into the kitchen and saw me standing there, looking miserable, like I haven't slept in ages. "Modesta..." He whispered, that dull expressionless look in his eyes disappeared. He looked back at his Mom, then towards me, "Come outside." He gently grabbed my arm and led me outside. I gulped seeing Christine- wait? Christine? Wasn't she completely destroyed yesterday? How could he have fixed her in one night? Impossible, she was literally destroyed when I saw her. He forced me into the front seat.

"Look, I know what I said yesterday hurt you." He started, sighing, he looked depressed. "I wasn't thinking straight, and later I felt horrible for saying that to you." He replied, I was actually starting to feel bad now. "I-I thought you actually meant it." My voice sounded raspy "No, never. But, could you please forgive me?" He asked, glancing at me. I could tell he actually meant it by the look in his eyes "I-I.. do forgive you." I sighed, he pulled me into a hug. I was surprised at first, then hugged back. "How about we do something fun?" He asked while we were still hugging, "Like what?" I asked, loving the warmth he was giving off. "We could get something from the gas station, and just hangout." He responded "That would be nice." I smiled.
