This is about a borrower named Marcus who is trying to settle down in a house after an accident that made him lose his left leg and a troubled girl named Emily who is planning to move out after her parents divorce.
What happens when these 2 meet and...
I ordered one pepperoni pizza and then took Marcus downstairs to the living and put him gently on the pillow then sat next to him. I looked at him and asked "so wanna watch a movie before the pizza arrives?"
He looks at me with his usual lazy smile "yeah sure, hey could we watch that one with the Spider guy ?" He asked with a cute little smile.
"I think you mean Spider-Man" I said with a giggle .
Ever since I introduced him to movies he became a movie addict especially action movies like 'Iron man' and 'Spider Man' but Spider-Man is his favorite, for some reason even though he's afraid of spiders he likes how Peter Parker can swing around buildings using his webs or climb walls with just his hands.
Of course there are things that confuses him but I pause the movie than explain it to him then we continue watching.
"And yeah we could watch it on my laptop till pizza gets here , give me a sec" I answered opening my laptop and started searching for the movie , I then didn't notice Marcus staring .
Marcus POV:
I honestly couldn't stop starting at this amazing girl next to me , seriously sometimes I wonder if I'm dreaming or something since my entire life I group up hearing stories about how dangerous beings and how they will kill us with no mercy.
Yet this beautiful girl next is the exact opposite of everything I know heck she could have forced me to come with her against my will but instead she gave me choice and to be honest I happy I agreed.
Yes living in her parents' house would have been better considering both her and her dad left making only her mom living there so there'll less beings to worry about while borrowing ,but living with a friend is much better .
Friend huh, to be honest it's been a while since I had someone to call that I mean yeah sure I met a few borrowers before here and there but I only saw them as acquaintance and even the few girls I flirted with it was just playful flirt and I probably won't see any of them again . So yeah even if Emily is a being I'm happy to be her friend.
So lately I'm starting to question my feelings towards her.
"Hey" snapping me out of my thoughts I look at her "I found the movie you ready" she said looking at me while putting the laptop in front of the pillow I'm sitting on and laying down her side next to me.
I grinned "sure"
Third person POV:
They both sat watching the movie and after a few minutes the pizza came. After paying the delivery guy and taking getting some soda from the fridge they both continued watching the movie while eating pizza and having soda.
When they finished the pizza and the movie they were both tired .
Yawning Marcus "hey it's pretty late I think we should go to bed" he said while covering his mouth
"Yeah your right let's just wash up first" Emily said putting her hand in front of him waiting for him to climb on.
He crawled to her hand and laid down looking up at her. She got up and walked up the stairs to the bathroom next to her room

She sat him next to the sink then turned on the water and they both washed their hands ,well she did he just put his hands in the water then dried them and waited for her to finish. After brushing her teeth she scooped him up and went to her room and laid him on the pillow.
"Hey I'm going to change into my pjs and come back okay" she looked at him.
"Sure no problem I'll wait for you" he said smiling at her.
"You don't have to wait just go to sleep" she said.
"Nah I don't mind" he said yawning.
"Okay" she shrugged , she took her pjs from her wardrobe and went to change in the bathroom.Marcus tried to stay awake but with how comfortable and soft the pillow was he found himself going to sleep.
When Emily came back she cooed about how cute he looked while sleeping and got into the bed and put her head on the pillow next to his and looked at him.
Grinning she said "how cute" and then she drifted to sleep after covering him with her hand like a blanket .
