The four of them looked back to see explosions and smoke. All at once they started to run towards the disruption. Once they arrived they saw a giant demon looking thing. Evan yelled at them that he would take care of the big one. The other three nodded and parted ways. Chris went right, Evan forward to fight the giant, Dakota also went straight so Dean went left. He walked a bit with his gloves powered up, but he saw nothing but smoke ashes and fire. The smoke was starting to hurt his eyes. He wandered around until he stumbled upon a building that didn't seem to be too burned. He went inside. It was a rather basic house, but what he noticed was that there was no smoke inside. It was one room with a chair right in the middle of it. Dean approached the chair to find a broken mask and a note. He picked up the note and it read, "You were told to never enter this building. May the gods have mercy on your soul." When Dean finished he set the note down and picked up the mask. He noticed that the inside had a glowing red. He felt a great temptation to put it on, but he didn't. He slid it into his backpack. He looked around and saw that the house was really nothing special. He turned around to leave the house. When he got out he heard Chris' voice call out, "Guys we have another one!" Dean didn't heasate and ran over to the sound of the voice. He sprinted through fire and smoke. Past Evan blasting away at the giant and finally arriving at Chris being attacked by something with large claws. Dean ran up and got a clean hit on the thing's face, sending him flying into a cobblestone wall.

"Shoot, nice hit!" Chris exclaimed. Chris held up his hand for a high five, Dean hit it, but realized too late that he forgot to turn off his gloves. Chris yelped as he flew backwards, sparks shot out. Dean ran over to him, "Are you alright? I completely forgot." Chris shook his head, "No you're quite alright." "Have you seen Dakota or Evan?" Dean asked. "Not recently." Chris responded while brushing off some dirt. "Alright, I'm good now. Let's go find the others." Chris told Dean as he started to walk. Dean followed behind. As they searched, they heard a scream from close by. Chris gripped his sword and Dean powered his gloves back up. When they got to the sound of a noise they were at the house that Dean had got the mask from. "I was here before I ran over to you. There was nothing in this house." Dean told Chirs. Chris nodded, then turned back. "You don't have a mask?" "No." Dean replied. "Alright, you got and find the others, I'll deal with whatever's in here. Come back as soon as possible." Dean nodded and ran off. Chris looked at the building. "Do you see any kind of entrance?" Chris asked. "Yes sir, there is one on the other side of the building." Mante responded. Chris walked around and found the door. He knocked on it, and heard a blood curdling scream. "Oh boy…" Chris mumbled to himself. "Sir, there doesn't appear to be anything alive in there." Mante said. Chris sighed and kicked open the door. When he got inside he was greeted by a large, 1800's building. It was very fancy, red carpet, massive chandeliers and a hallway with a staircase on either side.

"What in the world…" Chris said to himself. "Dean said there was nothing in here." Chris chuckled. To his left there was a wall and his right was the hallway and staircase. "Something strange has happened sir. I'm now reading that there are at least 20 people in this building. It looks like there are rooms up the stairs and down the hallway." Mante told Chris. He started to walk towards the hallway when he was greeted by a man in a black suit. He had a pleasant smile. "Hello there. It has been quite a while since someone has visited our ol' hotel. Care for some tea? Toast?" "No thank you. I was just coming in because I thought I heard someone scream." The man looked at Chris, his pleasant expressen had washed off his face. "I see." The man said, then recompossed his expression. "Well follow me, I'll show you to your room." He said, with a great smile." "You know, I'd love to, but I actually have some people waiting for me outside. If you'll excuse me." Chris said and calmly walked to the door. "We need to inform Evan about this place, Chris thought. When he reached the spot of the door, it was gone. "Mante. Where's the door?" Chris asked his companion. "I don't know sir. I have done multiple scans, and I see nothing." "No door?" "No sir, I believe we have traveled to another dimension."

A chill went down Chris' back as he put a hand on the wall and looked at the ground . "Evan can get here, right?" Chris asked as the panic started to get worse and worse. "I will send out a signal, and sir, calm down, Evan will get here." After hearing that Chris recomposed himself. He looked over at the man, who smiled at him. Chris walked up to him and he whispered to Chris, "I don't remember saying you could leave." The man stood up straight and laughed, "You don't have to wear that helmet son!" The man was about three inches taller than Chris. Chris didn't react, just stared at him. "Sir, I suggest you turn your helmet into glasses mode. We don't know what these people are capable of." Chris tapped the side of his helmet and it flipped into glasses. "Well, now let me show you to your room." The man said with the same smile, but it no longer looked friendly, it now looked threatening. Chris gave a half hearted smile, and walked with him down the hall, which was surprisingly dim.

When they got to the room, the man opened the creaky door. It was a rather basic room, a bed in the middle, a coffee table next to it and a footstool at the end of the bed. "Make yourself comfortable." The man said and slammed the door shut. "Anything on getting in contact with Evan?" Chris asked. "Yes sir, it appears he acknowledged it. He should be here momentarily." Chris let out a sigh of relief when he heard the man start to shout, "Welcome one! Welcome all! Today we have a very special guest with us. Some of you may have heard of him as the underdog. He was a participant in the great battle for the gem." Chris realized that he was very probably talking about him. His mask switched up and he looked around. "It's the one," Chris got prepared for whatever was about to happen, "The only!" Chris took a deep breath. "Evan the Wizard." A screen popped down to show the man and Evan. There was what sounded to be cheating in the background. Evan was smiling at the man. "Hello Evan, how's it going?" The man said far too enthusiastically. Evan looked at him, "I'm doing quite well." "You were a surprise to have shown up today. What brings you here?" The man laughed along with the people in the background. "Oh just here to save a friend." Evan laughed along. It suddenly got very quiet. "You're here for what?" The man asked. "Oh I think you heard me." Evan laughed, and so did the people in the back. "But because you're quite hard of hearing, I'm here to save a friend." The man got very serious looking, almost as much as he did when Chris tried to leave. The man waved his hand sharply towards whatever was recording, and it was all silent.

"Who are you trying to save, Evan?" The man asked. Evan smiled at him, "The one with the mask." The man stared at him. Evan just smiled. "Well, i'm sorry to say, but no one has come into my hotel with a mask recently." "Oh, is that the case. Then you wouldn't mind if I took a look around. "Oh no, not at all."

Back in Chris' room he was doing all he could to call for Evan. "Have you sent him the messages?" "Yes sir." Chris punched the wall. "Why isn't he coming here?!" Chris yelled. "Sir, you need to calm down. Evan is probably planning something." Mante told him. Suddenly there was a rush of wind from behind Chris. He spun around with his sword drawn, only to see Evan standing there. Chris smiled and sighed a sigh of relief. "What's going on Evan?" Chris asked. "Don't worry about it. I'll explain it when we get back." Evan told him as he handed him a rock. When Chris grabbed it, he was back in the house and it was just as Dean had said. Empty. He walked out and was face to face with Dakota and Dean. "Where's Evan?" Dakota asked. "He must be dealing with the guy." Dean looked at Chris in confusion, "What guy?" Chris looked at Dean, "I don't know, we think we got transported to another dimension or something." Dakota nodded, "Honestly, that wouldn't surprise me."

After conversing for a while, Evan showed up. "That was a mess." He exclaimed as he walked through the door. "We should start to head out. I want to clean up." Evan said before turning around. "None of you would happen to have a," He paused, "Broken mask, would you?" He looked around and Dean reached into his bag. "Does it look something like this?" He said, pulling out the mask that was on the chair. "Yeah, exactly like that. Could I have it?" Evan asked. Dean handed it over. When Evan got it, it immediately turned to ashes. " The rumors are true. That mask opened up a portal to another world. I'm glad that we will no longer have to deal with that." Evan said while dusting off his hands. "Now, let's get going, shall we?" Evan asked. "Yeah, let's get out of here." Dakota said, and the four of them took off.
