A/N: Hey y'all! If you could vote/comment any critiques that would be amazing. I'll try to make longer chapters. Thank you!

Cannon's POV

I make it a habit to never lay my hands on a woman. Men? Absolutely. Boys? Sure. If they deserve it. But never a woman. I've watched enough of that.

Maddox came close to being my first.

The minute those grey eyes met my own, I had to do everything within my power to not do a double take. I knew those eyes. Filled with years of pent up rage, trauma and aggression, it was like looking into a mirror. For a split second, I almost wondered who could have caused that kind of pain. I almost wanted to hurt them. Almost.

Then she opened her mouth.

If someone else would have been talking to me like that, they would have been dead before they hit the floor. Although, I will admit, her fearlessness was intriguing. Maybe it's a good thing that her dad didn't pay. It'll be so much fun to watch her break.

"Excuse me, sir?" A voice said from the other side of my office door.

"What do you need." I snap. I have little patience for stupidity and if this voice belongs to who I think it does, then I know that all I'll hear for the next 5 minutes is stupidity.

"Well, um, well" Luke stutters out, walking into the room.

"Today, Luke."

"It's the, the girl. The men you told to watch her house reported that there was a lot of commotion coming from inside. Screaming, yelling, and, and they said they could hear someone getting beat up." He says.

"Fuck me. Alright load up. We leave in 5." I say.

Luke starts to head to the door when I stop him.

"Oh and Luke? Waste my time with that goddamn stutter again and I'll sew your mouth shut." I say in a low voice. The man goes completely white and simply nods.

Like I said, I hate stupidity.
