The Pencil's Case

Welcome to... my house?

Hyunshik and I went to my house. I searched my keys in my pocket to open the door. Wait... Hyunshik must have the same idea because he gave me back my keys before signalling me he had fed my fish the other day. I obviously thanked him before I opened the door. Then I went to my kitchen, but when I opened one of my cupboards I discovered cookies next to my usual food. What? Hyunshik then told me there is also 'real' food in my fridge. Thus he believed I wasn't the culprit for quite a time now to put it here. I thanked him again making him wonder why. But it was for everything. But he cut it short telling me it was time for me to live not only survive. "Hyung..." is the only word that left my mouse. I wasn't surviving, for real I am living my life. It's just that it's not the usual teenager life. Furthermore, I will be an adult soon enough. But that only word seems to make him happy:

"It's good to hear you call me hyung."

"Why do you think I am not the culprit?" I asked him without warning.

He answered that I couldn't do that. That left me puzzled. I could, clearly I can do those things. He interrupted my thought by establishing it was time to cook. I advised him to go back home because his daughter would wait for him. But he reminded me she was at school. It's true, it was Friday. But I noticed it would be lunchtime soon only to learn she was going to eat at the cafeteria with her friends. I asked him if he would eat with me in that case. Yes, he also added even if his daughter was coming home he would have stayed to eat with me making me question why. Apparently, I need someone in my life so I retorqued:

"I could swear Dewei got into you. Did you two link minds?"

He laughed before observing I could also make jokes. But like, yes, obviously yes. I am socially functional but I am not a social butterfly, I like being by myself that's all. He doesn't seem to believe it. He started to cook. Do I seem such desperate? ... Anyway! He told me to go take my shower while he was cooking. And, I did.

"You're here?" said the agent after my shower as if I could evaporate myself during my shower. We ate while discussing as normal people do. After Officer Eun made the oral observation that I was effectively functional and asked why I was all by myself all the time. I dodged the question while offering him to take a shower if he wanted and specified I would have clothes that would fit him. He doubted the last part of my remark. With a silence for a reply from me, he decided to accept my offer so I led him to the bathroom before exposing how my shower works and the different things he will need. I brought him some clothes too as I said before. The shirt caught his attention. He found it nice. I had customized myself to his surprise. Then I let him take his shower in peace.

When he left the shower he thanked me for the clothes as if he didn't already do earlier. After the welcome reply I owed him, I asked him if he could drive me to school. Not surprising to him, he gladly accepted. I explained I needed to justify my missing to what he replied he will plead in my favour. There is good to know a police officer!
