Flicker climbed up the tree agilely, using his zigzag tail to balance on the branch. Flicker's spiky ear twitched as he watched over the group, Bon and Pecha sharing Oran berries.
The Pichu, Dash and Mint were being taught moves from Razz.
Cinder and bristle were chasing each other playfully. Since everyone seemed calmed and at ease, it seemed like a good time for Flicker to go on a stroll.
As Flicker was climbing down the tree he seen Velvet trot over to Flicker.
"Where are you going, Flicker? "
" I'm going to take a stroll around Viridian forest. " Flicker twitched his nose.
" Do you mind if I come along? " Velvet's tail swayed. Flicker shook his head. The two Pikachu walked side by side talking about the day's news.
A little later...
" Do you know how Mint and Dash are doing in controlling their electricity? " Flicker asked Velvet, who seemed focused on the grassy route. " Mint is a quick learner and is getting the hang of it, while Dash on the other side is learning, but not as quick as Mint but has more control then Mint. "
Flicker nods, as he was just about to lose focus until he seen Velvet halt. What? Flicker followed where Velvet's gaze sat. In front of them was a yellow egg.
What is it doing here, and where is its mom? Flicker stepped a few steps forward. The spots were rather familiar to him. " Who would leave a egg here? " Velvet snapped out of her frozen phase. She hopped near the egg, sniffing it.
" It's a Pichu egg. " Her gaze fixed on Flicker.
" Should we take it with us or wait for its mother to appear? " She placed her paw gently on the egg.
" We should wait a little and if nothing appears then we take it with us. " He spoke.
After a while from waiting the two decided to take the egg. It took a little extra time to go back to their camp but as they reached camp they took the egg to Pecha.
" It's still alive, but where did you get it from? "
Pecha had questioned the egg's sudden appearance.
" We found it in Viridian forest. " Flicker answered her.
" Alright, you can just leave it to me now. "
" What will you do with the egg, Flicker? Will you keep it and let it train while being in the group, or will you teach it the basics of survival and release it back into Viridan forest? " Velvet asked.
" .. " Flicker hesitated for a few seconds before replying.
" We'll let it in the group and train. " He answered at last.
