Solar and the patrol led the injured Eevee back into camp. Once he saw them, Flicker padded over to the patrol. "What is this?" His gaze traveled over to the patrol. As soon as he saw Solar his eyes brimmed with joy. "You've evolved! " His voice was filled with adoration. Bristle opened her mouth to reply. "We encountered this Eeve while patrolling. He was injured by a Scyther, and after we chased off that Scyther I decided to take him here to heal. Will you allow that?" Bristle blinked at Flicker, waiting for his answer. Solar watched as Flicker hesitated before nodding. "Yes, take him to Pecha where he can heal. After he's healed he can go back to-" Flicker was cut off by the Eevee. "I don't know where to go, I lost my trainer in the forest!" He exclaimed, looking dismayed. For a second Solar felt pity for the poor thing.
Flicker's eyes widened in a surprise expression, before recovering a moment later and speaking. "Once you're healed we can help you search for your trainer. " Flicker soothed the Eevee and spoke again. "Bristle, take him to Pecha. And you three," He looked at Solar, Razz, and Cinder, who just stood there listening. "Go ahead and rest, there's berries on the tree stump if you're hungry. " Flicker turned and headed to his tree. Out of his trance, Solar walked over to the tree stump to grab a Leppa berry. Wait, that Eevee might be hungry too, why not grab one for him? Solar thought, as well taking a Persim berry. I might be able to solve this silly mystery of mine. Before Solar could reach Pecha's den Mint was bounding over to him. "Congratulations! I heard the story from Razz. That's pretty cool on how you practically jumped that Scyther, by the way. " Her eyes shined with admiration that Solar felt embarrassed by her approval. "It wasn't mainly me who was damaging the Scyther. Bristle definitely taught that Scyther a lesson. " He replied awkwardly.
"Well anyways, you should totally join in on me and Dash practicing our attacks one day. It would be nice to have more paws. Oh- Wait- I think I'm distracting you from doing something, sorry! " Mint quickly apologized. "But do give the training a try, now cya! " Mint trotted away before Solar could reply. Huh, how sweet. Solar blinked warmly after she left before continuing ahead to Pecha's den. Bristle walked out of the den before nodding at Solar and heading towards Flicker's tree. Solar stepped inside the den to see Pecha giving the Eevee a Sitrus berry. "Eat this, It'll help you heal quicker. " She nudged it forward to the Eevee who reluctantly took a bite out of it. Pecha blinked up and noticed Solar. "Hi, are you here to check up on him? " She waved her tail towards the Eevee. Solar nodded before speaking. "Yes, can I do that? " Solar smiled at Pecha who nodded and slipped out of the den.
Once she was gone Solar had faced the Eevee who blinked at him curiously. "I'm feeling better now. " He mumbled. Solar just stood there, thinking of questions before asking, "What's your name?" He looked at the Eevee with a friendly smile. The Eevee hesitated and then replied. "I think my trainer called me 'Coy', I think." That answer caught Solar off guard. He let his trainer name him? Solar shook his fur before nodding. "Okay, Coy. So how did you end up in the forest anyways? " Solar waited for Coy to answer, while Coy seemed to be thinking for an answer. Finally, Coy responded. "I was walking with my trainer. She was looking for some Pokemon to catch, and I had wandered off cause I thought I saw something strange. But when I was looking around to see what it was I had realized that I couldn't see her anymore. So I explored deeper into the forest to try and find her and accidentally bumped into a Scyther!" Coy went on. "It got angry at me for bumping into it, and I attacked it cause I thought it was gonna hurt me. " Coy's ears drooped and he stared at the Den wall with sorrow. "And now I'm here cause of my curiosity. "
Solar nodded, not that he understood completely, but understood how sad Coy was. He had lost his trainer and afterwards was injured, leaving him temporarily without his trainer and in Pecha's den. "You will probably feel better soon. " Solar pathetically attempted to reassure Coy, and it unsurprisingly failed. "What if my trainer leaves and I don't find her anymore?" He looked at Solar with panic. Solar blinked at him, feeling sympathy for Coy and tried again to reassure him. "I'm pretty sure your trainer won't just abandon you like that. If you like, tomorrow during moonrise we can go searching for your trainer." Coy calmed down after hearing Solar's words. Solar put down the Persim berry that he still had in his paw and gently pushed it towards Coy.
Coy looked at Solar with appreciation before biting into it. Solar began to eat his Leppa berry when Coy suddenly spoke. "If I'm honest, I never really ate berries before. My trainer preferred to heal me with these things she calls 'potions'. It pretty much instantly healed me and looked clear with some type of purple liquid in it. I question it but don't argue, I'd prefer to be healthy than injured!" Solar's eyes widened in realization. "Woah, I think I saw something similar like that. It looked exactly like the way you described those potions, clear and purple liquid inside." Coy blinked in surprise before nodding. "It might be one. " Coy responded to Solar. "How weird!" Solar exclaimed and wrinkled his nose in confusion before going back to eating his berry.
Once he finished his berry he smiled warmly at Coy. "Well I'll be going now, it was nice chatting. Remember our plan!" He trotted towards the den entrance before looking back at Coy for his response. " Okay, see you soon! " Coy smiled back and Solar left the den. In the clearing his campmates were in groups; Razz was telling what had happened during the patrol. "And both Bristle and Solar fought off that Scyther before it could do more damage!" Razz exclaimed. Another group had contained Striker, Violet, Bristle, Velvet, and Flicker. They seemed to be talking about something serious. Solar hesitated where to go before he saw Barley and Cloud approaching him. He knew what they were here for. "Congratulations on evolving! You definitely deserve it." Barley smiled at Solar. "You'll have fun being a Pikachu! " Cloud chimed in.
Solar whisked his tail, feeling sudden joy. "Thank you." He blinked at them appreciatively. "Now cya!" Barley and Cloud bounded off. Instinctively, Solar's paws took him to the Pichu's den, before realizing he wasn't a Pichu anymore. I'm a Pikachu. But I still need to move my nest into the Pikachu's den anyway. He slipped into the den and carefully grab hold of his nest and hauled it out. It didn't take long to get it into the other den. After he placed down his nest he flopped into it, grateful for it. Solar drifted off into sleep. After a few seconds he found himself in the forest with the moon high. I'm in a dream. He thought and stared up at the moon. Solar looked back down to see the moonlight pouring into the forest floor. It seemed like it was lighting his path. Solar looked closer to see what looked like tiny transparent stars ahead. Woah.. Feeling calm, he followed the starry path. It felt like moons before the stars had came to an end, and ahead lie a Trainer town. Huh? Why would the stars lead me here? Solar trotted—or floated along the town. Suddenly moonlight seemed to gleam on a trainer home. Curiously, Solar approached the home. Yellow fur suddenly caught his eye.
He peeked in to see a Pikachu staring at the moon through the transparent boundary that kept her in the inside of the home. She had somewhat curly fur and her eyes shined as she stared up at the moon. Solar's heart lurched and after a few heartbeats his vision started to blur. Who is she? His vision went dark as he starts to feel the soft touch of his nest under him.
