"Senapati." Maharani Somvati called and soon a man in his late thirties entered inside.
"Pranaam MahaRani Saa." He bowed and greeted the Queen.
Somvati nodded acknowledging his greetings.
"Hum aapko ek zimmedari saup rahe hain." Maharani's words left Shaswat the Amry chief of Amergarh muddled.
"Kis prakar ki zimmedari Maharani Saa." He asked back with confussion etched on his forehead.
"Aap toh jante hi hain Shaswat ki Baghdad ke Badshah ne hamare bete aur aapke Rajkumar to bandi bana liya hai..." Somvati paused and looked in chief's direction who was listening her attentively.
"Aap yeh bhi jante hain ki unhone Maharaj ke samaksh ek shart rakhi thi..." She continued but was cut off in mid by Shaswat.
"Hum jante hain Maharani Saa... Sab jante hai. Aap pareshan naah ho... Aapko toh bas aadesh dene ki zarurat hai... Hamari sena yudh ke liye taiyaar hai." Shaswat informed. His voice was laced with confidence.
"Koi yudh nahi hoga Shaswat." Maharani said making him stunned.
"Agar yudh nahi hoga toh..." Shaswat stopped. He wasn't even able to let the words out of his mouth.
Somvati nodded. She knew what he was about to say.
"Maaf kijiyega Maharani Saa par hum apni beti... Amergarh ki Rajkumari... Ko waha nahi bhejege." Shaswat denied the order.
"Hum nirnaya le chuke hain Shaswat. Aur ek Senapati hone ke naate hamare faisle ko anjaam dena aapka kaam hai. Hum aasha karte hain... Aap hamari baat samjh rahe honge." Somvati commended in an authorative tone leaving no room for further argument.
"But Maharani Saa..." Shaswat tried his luck but stopped when got a look from her.
"Jaisa aapka aadesh Maharani Saa." He agreed half heartedly.
"Aap ja sakte hain." Somvati concluded and moved to check on Maharaj who was still unconcious leaving behind a puzzled Shaswat in the middle of the Royal Court Hall.
