Chitra's insides were boiling in rage. No one ever insulted her that way.

She indeed came to Zahoor's territory but would stay there only according to her will... Her choices... Her comfort.

"Shehzaadi." Shaukat called horrified, as Chitrangada moved forward towards the right wing.

"Please don't do this. Badshah will be angry." He pleaded folding his hands but Chitra paid no heed to him.

She was fuming in anger to take any sane decision.

"This room... I'll stay in this one." She pointed towards the very first room which caught her attention.

Shaukat stood confused. He had no idea what to do.

"Shaukat lagta hai aapne hame suna nahi." Chitra said with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Mat kijiye aisa Shehzaadi." Shaukat tried his luck again but all in vein as Chitra herself moved inside the room opening the large oak doors.

Not left with any other option, Shaukat ordered the other 2 servants who were carrying Chitragada's trunks to place them inside.

He himself moved out once everything was settled and racked his brain to come up with any idea of conveying the Shehzaadi's decision to Zahoor.

Chitra closed the door once everyone left.

Her gaze moved around and she gaped.

The room was huge... like real huge. She was sure it was double in dimensions in comparison to her room back in Amergarh.

Despite of being empty... It was neat and clean... Not a single spot.

Her lips curved up a little when she noticed the attatched balcony of the room.

Finally, she found some similarity between her new and old room.

A yawn escaped her mouth making Chitra realise that she was tired... So, without wasting a second she plopped down on the bed and closed her eyes waiting for the slumber to embrace her.

"Zahoor." Ruksana's shrill voice reached Zahoor's ears who was in his study engrossed in some royal paper work.

"Aadaab Ruksana." He wished her standing on his feet.

Ruksana was Hasan's wife but Zahoor always treated her like his sister which gave her the liberty to disturb him that no one had.

She acknowledged him back with a motion of hand.

"Kya hua hai Ruksana?" He asked worried. Something seemed off in her demeanour.

"Woh Chitrangada... Unhone aapke hukum ki nafarmani ki." She complained.

"What has she done?" Zahoor asked irritated.

That girl was getting on his nerves now.

"She was supposed to be in the left wing of the Harem but..." Ruksana halted on her words.

"But..." Zahoor probed her to continue.

"Right wing... She is in..." Just two words were enough for him to understand as he sauntered out even before letting Ruksana complete her sentence.

"Shaukat." Zahoor roared while making his way towards Harem.

Now, Chitrangada really messed up big time by disobeying his orders.

"Huzur...." Shaukat came, panting badly.

He sounded ragged as if ran a marathon but his next words stuck in his throat as Zahoor's rough palm came in contact with his right cheek.

Everthing turned silent. His face tilted downwards with the impact of the slap.

"How dare you to disobey me?" Zahoor asked. His voice came loud.

"Huzur..." Shaukat tried but couldn't form a sentence. He was shaking in fear.

"Didn't I specifically ask you Shaukat to take her to the left side of the Harem... Then... What the hell is she doing in the section of royal ladies?" Zahoor quipped in a serious tone.

He was sure it was Chitrangada sole decision only cause Shaukat could never defy him... So, all he wanted was assurance... A confirmation... Before taking any rash step.

"I tried to stop her... Believe me Badshah I tried but she didn't listen to me." Shaukat gave his statement, internally prying for Zahoor to believe him and not punish him for something he never did.

"I believe you Shaukat and now she has to face the consequences of her actions." Zahoor mused putting a conforting hand on Shaukat's shoulder.
