Trapped In The Underwater Room (2D x Reader)

Chapter 9-Trauma

[Timeskip: A month and a half]
*Trauma/Abuse Warning*

It's been about a month and a half since Murdoc brought us here, it can be boring at times but it's... decent. I've noticed something recently, 2D has become... off... he's been wearing more long sleeve shirts than usual and when a loud noise like a pipe creek happens he either shivers or twitches. He says he's ok but I'm not sure I believe him. Murdoc's only been needing 2D a lot recently, I wonder if that's the problem. We've at least 5 songs, Murdoc mentioned there will be at least 16 songs on the album, at least it sounds good so far.

I woke up cold and tired but no hurting this time, my eyes been feeling fine recently. (I'm honestly surprised it isn't infected) I looked over at 2D, he was on his side asleep like usual, I got up to change quietly then waited for Murdoc like usual till I heard his usual loud boots coming down here. "Time to get up! I need you both today!" He yelled then slamming the door. When he slammed the door 2D twitched awake looking horrified.

We went upstairs like usual and went in the studio. We decided to record the song 'Stylo' today, Murdoc said he decided to release 'On Melancholy Hill' as a sneak peek for the fans, 'I hope they like the song' I thought. I was doing the keyboard will our guest Bobby Womack was singing a part. After the song was finished Murdoc told me to go to the other room, I'm no sure why but he just did. I heard noises like screaming and banging, of course I was concerned but before I could see what had happened Murdoc was dragging 2D to our room.

When we got to the room Murdoc threw 2D on the ground (while wearing his mask) and opened the curtain and made the whale appear. 2D screamed and curled in a ball, I decided to go up to him and shield him but Murdoc bolted over and yelled, "You better get out of this pretty girl! He doesn't deserve you!" Then slammed the door on his way out.

There was silence before I heard 2D trying not to cry. "Hey... it's alright, I'm right here" I say trying to comfort him. He then got up and said, "Y/n... I need to tell you something..." He then lifted his sleeves revealing bruises all over his arms and lifted his mask revealing a black eye. "Oh my god!" I shouted. I then bolted up and hugged him. I then started tearing up, "W-Why didn't you tell me?" I said crying. "I didn't want you to worry..." He said. "I promise you... I WILL protect you from him, no matter what." I said.
