Chapter 9

The concert was absolutely amazing! I had never seen something so wonderful. The only thing that was bugging me was my sister. She obviously likes Zayn and he seems happy, but my sister and I never got along. Only I know the pain she caused me. And I have the bruises to prove it.

Not now, not ever will I tell anyone.

At the concert, I wouldn't look at her. She kept trying to make small talk like nothing happened. She eventually gave up when I stopped looking at her period. I leaned on Liam's shoulder, as Harry drove us back, with Louis in the passenger seat. Liam's head was on mine when he whispered in my ear.

"When we get back, we need to talk. Okay?"

I nodded, then asked, "Can we tomorrow? I need sleep sp much ok?"

He looked at me and reluctantly complied and I knew I couldn't tell him. I made the promise to myself almost eleven years ago.

When I got back to the houses, I gave Haz, Lou, Niall, and Zayn a hug goodnight, and kissed Liam. Bry, Aly, and I went to my house. I gave Aly the guest room, and left it at that with a quick goodnight.

"Alex, wait-" she tried to say.

I wouldn't hear any of it. At least not yet anyway. I got into my room and got on my computer to o onto Instagram. I saw a picture of me, no, like a thousand, from the concert, of me and Liam kissing. A lot of them had nice things like how spas were the cutest couple ever and we belong together and all that cheesy stuff that made me laugh. There were many nasty ones to... Like:

"I can't believe he didn't break up with this whore"

"She doesn't deserve him, but I do!"

"Go away @alexdamion_1994!"

"Why he stays with her is probably because he pities her for what happened to her family"

"She's just a charity case. I heard they met because management gave her tickers and forced Liam to date her. He secretly hates her."

"I heard @alexdamion1994 is pregnant with Harry's child. That'll end what she never had with Liam!"

"Harry got dumped then he got his best mates girl pregnant? Seems too good to be true,"

"I just think she should kill herself because no one likes her and no one ever will, ESPECIALLY Liam Payne"

After that one, I shut my laptop off, it was just too much. I knew what I had to do with myself to make the pain go away. I haven't in a long time, but it's the only thing I can come up with. Liam fixed it, but he can't hold me together forever.

I lifted up my shirt I had gotten into before turning on my computer, balled my fist up, and punched my rib cage as hard as I possibly could. The pain surged through my entire body and I sucked in a harsh breath. I was stronger then I used to be so there was more pain. But, I didn't stop. I couldn't. Tears were streaming down my face from the pain but,I kept punching my ribs until someone walked in. I didn't even pause to see who it was. I kept hitting myself until I heard his voice. And even hen I did t stop.
