Chapter 13

(Alex's POV)

It's finally here. New Year's Eve. Then my 20th birthday. The big 2 0. I don't want to know what's going to happen tomorrow because I hate getting gifts, but Bry, El, and the boys all yelled at me when I told them no presents so I gave up and went to my bright purple room and started making my outfit for tomorrow.

I was just starting the top when I heard a knock on the door. I moaned.

"Whoever it is better have a brilliant reason for interrupting me." I snapped.

"Oh come on Lex. That is no way to act towards your little leprechaun. Let me in!" Niall always had a way to get me to laugh even I was pissed. I ran and opened the door, and he nearly fell on top of me.

"Woah there Ni! Watch what you're doing before you fall on me!" I laughed, pushing him off of me.

"Sorry Lex. I tripped. He gave me quick hug and a peck on the cheek before jumping on my bed. "Whatcha making girl?"

I sat back down at my workspace, and handed him he sketch of the outfit I planned to make for tonight. It was a simple legging, combat boots and shaw type outfit. The kicker was the shirt. It would be a pure white shirt, a bit longer in the back than the front, and puffs out a bit at the bottom. The only detail is the Waist section. On one end, on a triangle, there are diamonds. In the middle, it looks likes road type thing. On the other side are diamonds as well. (Made by yours truly) Niall gasps.

"Is it that bad? It took me three hours to get it right." I was so scared he wouldn't like it.

"I love it! It's beautiful! Liam will absolutely adore you on this." He smiles and hands me the paper back.

"Thanks Nialler. That means a lot. Stay and keep me company?"

He nods, and while I make the shirt, he stays and we talk about everything. Me and Liam, him and Bry, what I want for ,y birthday tomorrow, and tonight. I a, so excited for the party! About two hours later, I finished sewing the last diamond. I shoo Nialler out so I can shower, and get ready for the party that's two hours away!

After, Niall leaves, I shower quick, brush my teeth and put my robe on so I can do my hair and makeup then dress last. Once my soft blue robe is on, I curl my hair, pin it in a side bun, and start the makeup stage. I go with a smoky gray pallet, foundation to my face, blush, and Maybelline falsies mascara. A gloss is applied to my lips before I exit the bathroom.

After I zip up my shirt and finish off the outfit with a shaw, I'm the last out the door. I walk to the boys flat door, and go to open it when Liam walks right into me. I catch myself, and him. I smile, kiss him, and help him up. When he takes a good look at me, his mouth opens, his eyes buldge and he pales.

"What." I say. "What's wrong?" I'm all nervous something g happened.

"You look absolutely stunning Alex."

A blush creeps up my cheeks and I wrap my arms around his neck. "You don't look too bad yourself." He looks so hot in His slacks, dress shoes, button up shirt, and jacket.
