"What the hell?"

Hoseok opened his eyes and saw he was in a car. He looked and saw Yoongi in front, scrolling on his phone.

"Um, why are we in your car?" He asked, sitting up a bit.

"We went for a drive to the beach and you fell asleep. I didn't feel like driving back, so I just parked and pulled you back there."

"Oh, I didn't realize I was so tired. I'm sorry."

"It's alright, it's early, so you wanna go get some breakfast," Yoongi asked.

"What time is it?" Hoseok asked, pulling his phone out of his pocket and turning it on.

5:37 AM

"Is there anything opened at this time?" Hoseok asked, climbing into the passenger side.

"I know a place. It's pretty good, don't worry."

Yoongi started the car and pulled out.

"It always seems to rain when we hang out," Hoseok said looking out the window.

"Yeah, I guess it does."

It was silent for a few moments before Yoongi pulled up to a red light.

"You know parent week is coming up, right?"

Hoseok nodded as he looked at Yoongi.

"My mom sent me a few texts saying she was going to show up. She said she wanted to meet you properly. I forget to tell her we aren't dating, so..." Hoseok stated.

"It's fine, my parents are probably expecting to meet yours anyway. I'll just explain to your mom what's going on. Hopefully, she understands."

"I think she will, no need to worry."

Yoongi pulled off when the light turned green, turned left, and pulled into a small cafe.

VP Blood

"Interesting name," Hoseok said as they got out.

"Just stay close to me, alright."

Hoseok nodded and smiled as Yoongi held his hand. The two walked in, all eyes on them.

Yoongi just rolled his eyes as he dragged Hoseok to the back, sitting in a booth.

"Is this a vamp-"

"Yeah, so don't act like you usually do."

"How do you want me to act?"

"Just not you."

"Hello, my name is Hayo- Hoseok?! Yoongi!?"

"Do I know you?" Yoongi asked opening up a menu.

"This is Hayoon, I met her outside one of the gardens. She's half-human half-fairy," Hoseok explained.

"Oh, but how do you know my name?"

"Everyone knows your name Yoongi, you're a little famous at school."

"Oh, right."

"Anyway, what can I get you two?"

"Bring him water and tell Min-Jae that Yoongi is here. He'll know what I want."

"Alright, I'll be right back."

Hayoon left and Hoseok looked at Yoongi.

"Do you come here often?" Hoseok asked.

"Yeah, but only because my friend owns the place."

"He does?"

"Yeah, he's like my little brother and I want to support him."

"How nice."

"Yoongi-hyung! What are you doing here?!"

A young guy came over to the table and Yoongi stood up, hugging him.

"Hey, I haven't seen you in a while so I thought I'd pop in. Hoseok, this is my friend Min-Jae. Min-Jae, this is my friend Hoseok."

"Nice to meet you," Hoseok said with a bright smile.

Min-Jae just gave him a nod before turning his attention back to Yoongi.

"Hyung, have you been? It's been a while. You haven't been here in a couple of months."

"I know, I've just been dealing with my parents, I'm finishing up school, and your older brother is still bothering me."

"Damn! I told him to leave you alone. Don't worry, I'll talk to him."

"It's fine, I can handle him."

"I know hyung, but I like protecting you from those who mess with you."

Yoongi pinched Min-Jae's cheeks and smiled at him.

'They seem very close,' Hoseok thought.

Wait?

Did Min-Jae just glare at him?

Hoseok only said 4 words to the boy

"Hyung, I don't want to be rude, but why bring a Human here?"

"Because we woke up earlier and I wanted something to eat."

"Blood Splat?"

"Yeah"

"Ok, well I'll be right back."

Min-Jae gave Hoseok a small smile before leaving. It seemed a little fake.

"I don't think your friend likes me," Hoseok said.

"He probably doesn't, but don't mind him. He doesn't like any human, that's why he doesn't go to school with us. It's crazy, half of his family were humans.

"So, he was turned?" Hoseok asked, earning a nod from Yoongi.

"There was a plague I had begged my mother to help them. She ended up killing some of his siblings since they were already too far gone. That's why they claimed she was a witch. My mother would heal people by turning them, but they thought she was using some type of magic. Jae believes it's his fault what happened, but I don't blame him," Yoongi explained, a sad smile on his face. Hoseok reached over and held his hand, trying to comfort him, before pulling away.

"He seems like he looks up to you."

"Jae is like my little brother. I enjoy having out with him, unlike his older brother Sai who could burn in hell for all I care."

"Why do you hate him so much?"

"Sai likes to hurt others for fun. He makes threats and will do them if he gets pissed off. I'm surprised he hasn't told anyone about us yet."

"What's there to tell, we aren't really dating."

"True, but I don't have many friends. Jin is my only human friend and Y/n and Siren are fish."

Everyone's phones went off at the same time, making everyone check them. Yoongi pulled out his phone and groaned.

It was a picture of Hoseok holding Yoongi's hands.

All eyes were on them now.

"What the fuck! Sai! Get your ass out here! Now!"

Laughter was heard as someone stood up from a table and walked over. Of course, it was Sai.

"Yoongi, I warned you, did I n-"

Sai was interrupted by Yoongi slapping him.

"Let's go Hoseok, I'm not hungry anymore."

Hoseok quickly got up and followed Yoongi outside.
