Crystals of the past

Chapter 5: Meeting Erza

            As I dragged Natsu down the steps I could hear the sound of people talking getting louder and louder as we walked. Well I guess it was more like running. I was so excited! After all these long months I’m finally going to be part of a family. I know I haven’t even met everyone yet but I still felt like they were family. I don’t know but just being here made me feel so much better, like I had nothing to worry about. I was really excited to meet everyone so much so that was kind hurting Natsu in the process…

           “Gem-nee slow down! Your ganna rip off my arm!” Natsu moaned at me. I knew he was just being playing but I could feel myself becoming irritated with him.

           “But Natsuuuu! I’m just so excited!” I squealed while hugging him.”I finally found a guild that is perfect for me, and even better you’re here so it’s perfect!” as I shouted this I squeezed him tighter and looked up at him giving him a large Cheshire like grin. I slightly noticed that Natsu was blushing bright red and his jaw was hung open slightly. Me being the naïve little girl I was didn’t understand what was wrong.

             “Eehh! Natsu are you okay??” I asked while poking his face. As I was doing this he just became brighter and brighter making me even more curious. “Natsuuuu! Why is your face changing colors? Ahh! Can mine do that to!! Natsu teach me how to make my face turn different colors!” what do expected I was 9 and didn’t grow up around people. After all Natsu has been here longer so he must be used to people by now and knew more thing about emotions then I did. As I was poking his face he slowly started becoming annoyed and like usual started yelling about fighting me.

           “If you’re going to spend your time doing that then fight me! Come on gem show me your true power I bet I could beat you!”

          “Yeah right pinky! You know why Igneel told you to never fight a girl!” by this time we were both butting our heads together glaring at each other you could also see our magic flowing off of our bodies ready to be released.

         “WHY!” he screamed at me.

         “Because any girl can whoop a boys butt!” I said. Natsu roared with anger and we both got into our battle stances, right as we were about to start fighting someone came up behind us and smack us on the heads, HARD.

           “OW! Oi who slapped me in my head I have a bump now!” I whined out loud. I noticed Natsu was strangely silent and look over at whoever hit us with complete and utter fear in his eyes. I turned around and saw a young girl who seemed to be a couple years older than us. She had long red hair that was pulled back into a braid only allowing a few pieces to be left down to frame her face. She had brown eyes that seemed to hold a lot of pain and misery in them even if her face doesn’t show it. She had a light crème color to her skin not really tan but it also wasn’t incredibly pale. She wore what seemed to be armor on her torso with a red bow and a white colored shirt underneath. Along with that she had on a fairly long white skirt with black leggings underneath that and brown folded down boots. She also had with her a swords sheath wrapped around her waist. All in all she looks like a warrior, strong, and fierce. But I couldn’t help shake the feeling that I knew her somehow.

          This wasn’t like how I just simply forgot about Natsu. No I had a feeling that this was much more complex. The past that makes this even weirder is that when she looked over at me after scolding Natsu I could see a number of emotions pass by on her face. Surprise, curiosity, sadness, reconization, and above all I caught a glimpse of love in her eyes. But just as soon as I saw it, it disappeared replaced with one of indifference as she approached me. Could I have just imagined it?

          “And you I don’t take to strangers causing issues within my guild. Who are you?” she said strongly. Even though she was trying to be intimidating she didn’t scared me one bit. I don’t know why but I just had a feeling that she wouldn’t hurt me.

         “Hiya my name is Gemilie Silverstone and I’m actually joining here! I was just about to go meet everyone before me and pinky over here started fighting!” I exclaimed while pointing over towards Natsu-nii. The girl and I just ignored his ranting and just focused on one another. We both seemed to hold the same calculating look in our eye, like we knew so much more then we should for our age. I knew I acted like child most of the time but I really was smarter then I let on. I just choose to be childish; life’s just so much more fun like that!

           “I see in that case I will assist you then. I seem to have forgotten my manners my name is Erza Scarlet and I’ve been a Fairy Tail wizard for about two years now (a/n I have no idea when any of them joined honestly so just go with it :3).” She tried to seem like she didn’t really care about the matter, but I could tell she really did. I had a feeling she wanted to get to know me but she didn’t want to seem to straight forward. Either way it made me happy this just meant my family was growing bigger with every moment, with every new person I met.

          “Really! I would love it if you joined us Erza-nee Chan!” Natsu seemed completely surprised in my statement and so did Erza in fact she was even blushing a bit.

         “N-nee Chan!” she stuttered out.

          “Mmhmm! From now on everyone in the guild is going to be nakama to me! So come on lets go, go, go!” I yelled while grabbing both of their hands dragging them to the edge of the stair case. Let me tell you what I saw is defiantly what I wasn’t expecting to see! It wasn’t the fact of how many people were in the guild hall it was about the giant fight that was going on around me. Everyone was fighting one another, not out of anger but for fun! I could hear people laughing and cracking jokes at each other as they fought. I quickly gained a large grin on my face. For once it seemed like I found somewhere that I had fit into perfectly. The only thing left to do was to introduce myself to everyone and kami I couldn’t wait!

a/n sorry if it seems like im dragging it out i was planning on haveing her meet everyone in this chapter but i wasnt really feeling that inspired but i did know i wanted to update sooo :p dont worry in th next chapter ill have her meet everyone alright! thank you mina for reading and i love you all. i hope your dreams remain crystal clear ;). night guys!
