Chapter 4: Look out Fairy Tail because here i come!

After my little break down I was able to calm down enough to wipe away my tears and steady my breathing. I was so glad that I had gotten nii-san back. Even though I was happy that he found me I still had a couple questions I needed to ask the idiot…..

                “Um Natsu... Not that I didn’t miss you and all but ….. WHERE THE HECK AM I!!!!” I woke up in a white room in a place I don’t know about with someone I haven’t seen in years. HOW AM I NOT SUPPOSED TO FREAK OUT! OH GOD WHY DIDN’T THIS ACCUR TO ME BEFORE. HE COULD HAVE KIDNAPPED ME! Wait does it count as kidnapping if it’s another kid doing it…..I don’t know it’s still weird though. I need to get to Fairy Tail and this whole thing has probably sent me back a couple days. Natsu looked at my panic face and start laughing at me.

                “HAHAHA. Where at Fairy Tail you dork! I came here 2 months after Igneel left. Can you believe they don’t believe my dad was a dragon!! You’ll have to tell them it’s true!!! BUT FIRST LET’S FIGHT!!” I laughed at Natsu’s energy, same old same old Natsu….wait did he say….

                “EEEHHH!!WERE AT FAIRY TAIL! WELL WHAT ARE WE WAITING HERE COME ON LETS GO, GO, GO! I NEED TO JOIN RIGHT NOW!!” I jump up and grab Natsu’s arm and attempt to drag him to the door but he won’t budge. I push and pull him from every which way trying to get him to move sadly he doesn’t. What’s this kid made out of bricks!

                “Natsu-nii!! Come on and move your fat butt! How do you weigh so much!! Come on pinky we have to go!” As I’m shouting at him to go he just stands there and looks at me with a sad smile on his face. What happened to go lucky person that was here just moments ago? I drop his arm and stare back at him. Something must be wrong…

                “Nii-san? Are you ok?” he looks at me for a moment before answering.

                “Aye, but gem… you being here means that Crystala left to doesn’t it? I wonder, did your mother leave on 777 too?” I stare Natsu straight in the eye before looking down at my feet. I kind of wanted to avoid this question; it makes me sad to think about her. With tears in my eyes, this time ones of sadness, I look back up at Natsu and nod my head signaling yes. Natsu seeing me upset gathered me into his arms I gathered up the courage to tell him how I found out Crystala was gone and what has happened to me in the past months. I decide to save the part about Gajeel for last.

                “I met another dragon slayer, his name was Gajeel. His dragon was named Metalicana and well his dragon also left on 777…Natsu what does this mean? Why did they all leave us? I’m sorry I’m making you sad aren’t I? I don’t like making people sad.” I sniffle a bit at the end.

            “Ah!  No, no your fine gem ok? We can talk about this later kay? Didn’t you want to join Fairy Tail?! Let’s go do that right now ok? It will get your mind off of everything!!.” Just by mentioning Fairy Tail I brighten right up.

            “Yeah!! Oh wait pinky could you help me with meeting everyone and show me the master? The reason I was where you found me was because I wanted to join here! But well people get scared of me because of the gem in my forehead. Most people think I’m a demon so, well, I don’t know I’m kind of shy around new people so please Natsu help me!” I was so caught up with explaining myself to Natsu that neither of us even knew that the master had been standing there for the past couple minutes watching us with interest. If it wasn’t for him chuckling at me I don’t think we would have noticed till we calmed down. Which to be honest would take a while being the people we were. We turned around shocked to see the guild master standing there, and he was not at all what I expected.

            In front of me was an old very short man, so short that he was my height and I’m only 9 years old. He wore a orange and sky blue striped hat that on the sides of his head formed two spate pieced that made I similar to that of a jesters hat and bunny ears. Under the hat pieces of white hair that matched his poufy mustache stuck out...He wore a white shirt with the Fairy Tail symbol underneath an orange jacket with blue cuffs along with matching orange shorts. He wore silly shoes that curved up at a point at the end. They looked like clog dancing shoes and not very comfortable. Over all this was not what I was expecting. I thought all guild masters were supposed to be big and strong with an intimidating feeling. The only master that I think is as weird as Fairy Tail’s would have to be master Bob of Blue Pegasus. That guild was a bit to out there for me, especially for my age. As I looked at Makarov one thought came to mind…

            “Mr. Guild master are you a dwarf?” I said just as master was about to open his mouth. ok so it wasn’t really a thought but a question, but I had to know! If dragons exist why not dwarfs! At my statement Natsu burst out laughing again while the guild masters jaw drop. He soon started having anime tears leak out his eyes and cursed his shortness and how he was fun sized and not sort. I just started at him confused not understanding why he was crying or saying. ‘So is he not a dwarf?’ I thought to myself. Ah what it was like to be innocent and have child like wonder.

            “Oh um I’m sorry Mr. Guild master but um weren’t you about to say something before I did?” As I say this the guild master straightens up and puts a smile on his face. His black eyes seem to shine with amusement even though he was just crying. To this day I still don’t understand that man.

            “Ahem, as I was going to say gem I’m sure Natsu would love to show you to everyone. As for joining fairy tail I would love to have a new brat join my guild ha-ha!” as the old man laughs I can help but feel that his mind is much younger then he looks. I’m just so excited though! I finally get to join Fairy Tail! I jump at him and hug him while saying thank you.

           

            “THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH!! But wait I still don’t know your name!!” I say. I then hear Natsu yell something next to me.

            “Oi how long were you listening to us before gramps! You better not have heard the nick name she gave me!!” master and I laugh at Natsu’s small outburst.

            “That’s for me to know and for your to find out. Also my name is Makarov Dreyar young one. Now Natsu show this young girl around the guild and get her acquainted with everyone. Off you go boy! Come find me when you are done so she can get her stamp. I will be waiting at the bar.” As gramps says this he pushes us out the door and down the hall way towards some steps. I couldn’t help but smile and think about how things are finally looking up for me. As I drag Natsu towards the steps I heard master call out to us one last time.

            “Before I go down I have some business to attend to. Also good luck gem, and Pinky won’t you take care of our new member” I looked back at Makarov just to see him wink at us. As I pull Natsu towards the brightly light stairs I heard him complain about his nick name. Instead of listening I ignore him and think about my new family. My last thoughts before going down the stairs being ‘look out Fairy Tail because here I come!
