Crystals of the past

chapter 6: Finally a fairy!

The guild was just bursting with excitement, there was just so much to take in! The guild hall was filled to the brim with people left and right laughing and fighting each other. No one remained sitting for long before someone else challenged them. Inanimate objects and even people were being thrown across the room. Everyone just seemed so lively and surprisingly inviting to! It gave off a sort of welcoming feeling to it. Like no matter who you are you would be welcomed and accepted there. I now know I made the right decision and waiting before choosing a guild. I just had this gut feeling that this is where I truly belonged.

                "Eehh! Natsu, Erza everyone seems so great here I don't know where to start! Who should we start with huh? Huh?" I exclaimed while hopping from foot to foot out of excitement. I looked from side to side for my companions only to find them missing! Panicking thinking I lost them I kept looking all around me trying to spot them. Eventually I saw Natsu and a boy around his age butting heads together. As they yelled at one another I could almost see their magic aurora surrounding them. Around Natsu was a red fiery one while the other boys was a cold blue one. I had to admit the other boy was kind of cute. He wore navy blue shorts and....wait why wasn't he wearing a shirt!! I felt my face turn bright red and quickly look away holding it between my hands trying to calm down.

I could still here the boys fighting with each other and yelling names like flame brain and ice princess at one another. Just as I was calming down I heard footsteps approach and someone yell for a guy named gray to put his clothes on. Just as I was looking up a hand popped in front of my face. I followed the length of the arm up to the owner and stared at them curiously. It was a young with around the same age group as the rest of us. She had long brown hair tied back by a pink hair tie into a pony tail only leaving some hair to frame her face. She had large friendly brown eyes and light tan skin. She wore an orange checkered spaghetti strap dress with white lace riming the top. She wore a friendly smile on her face and giggled when she saw my beat red face.

                "Hi I'm Cana it's nice to meet you! I saw you walk in earlier with Natsu and Erza! I'm guessing you're new here and since they left to join in on the fight I guess I'll show you around! ", she stated. "The guy over their fighting with Natsu is Gray while the other chick fighting Erza is Mira. I wouldn't try to get in the middle of one of their fights if I were you." She pointed her thumb at Natsu, Gray, Erza and Mira to show where they were. I looked over to where she was pointing and saw Erza fighting a girl with long white hair pulled back into a pony tail by a maroon ribbon. She wore a black choker and maroon crop top matched with black shorts and tall black boots. She had blue eyes and pale skin and was the same height as Erza. She was very pretty but then again everyone here seems to be rich with good looks.

                "Thank you Cana! My names Gemilie by the way but you can just call me Gem!" I exclaimed while shaking her hand." Is it always this hectic here?"

                "Yeah it is, but you get used to it after a while. Fighting is kind of our way of showing that we care. Here at Fairy Tail everyone is family. Luckily it seems like just about everyone is here today except for Elfman, Lissana, and Gildarts...." As she said the last name she gained a sad look in her eyes. Maybe they are related and she's just worried?

"Anyways let's introduce you to everyone!"She exclaimed while grabbing my arm.

*time skip * (sry I'm feeling a bit lazy)

Cana dragged me all over the guild introducing me to everyone. Everyone was really interesting and nice. There was such a wide variety of magic here I couldn't believe it! I never knew that there was this much magic diversity in the world. Everyone was very accepting of me and welcomed me with warm arms. It was nice, this feeling of being loved. I know it's only been a year since Crystala left but still, I'm only a kid. All children deserve to grow up in a warm welcoming environment. I feel like I will finally get that here at fairy Tail. Even if right now I can only remember a select few people but I will eventually! After Cana showed me everyone including Mira and Gray who eventually stopped fighting with Erza and Natsu I went to go talk to master Makarov.

                "Did you enjoy your time child?" he said with a smile upon his face. I nodded my head eagerly at him wearing a large grin on my face.

                "I did, I did! Everyone is wonderful here! I'm glad I chose to wait to join a guild! I just knew I would find one that was perfect for me! How do I join!?"  I shouted happily at him. Makarov chuckled at me and shook his head. He reached his hand out my patted my skull and spoke to me.

                "You don't need to do anything to join child! Wanting to join and being yourself in enough. Now where do you want your guild symbol to be?" he asked while pulling out a stamp.

                "Hmm.... I want it on my neck! So everyone can see it! Oh can I get it in purple to?" I asked.

                "Oh course you can child anything you want." With that being said he lifted up the stamp and firmly pressed it to the right side of my neck. I felt a tingling sensation before he pulled the stamp away. Makarov then pulled out a hand held mirror to show me my new stamp. It was perfect everything about this day was just perfect. I met so many people like gray, Erza, Cana, Mira, Macao, and so many more! Over whelmed with happiness I jumped up onto the bar counter and gave Makarov a hug. He then stood up and raised his glass to the whole guild.

                "Listen up here brats! We now have a new member to our family! I'm sure you all have been introduced by now but just in case this is gem Silverstone! Now if I find out any of my brats aren't treating her they way they do everyone else there will be a price to pay! Because here at fairy Tail we are all family! We all have each others backs no matter what kind of trouble we get into! Because that is the fairy Tail way!" he raises his arm and put his up his pointer finger and thumb into the sky and cheered. The rest of the guild proceeded to do this and a couple people came and picked me up into the air passing me through the crowd. I laughed with everyone else and raised my arm like the rest of them. I think I'm going to like my time at fairy Tail. Maybe along the journey I can recover some of my memories. I wonder what my life will be like now that I've joined!

Hey guys im sry i havent updated lately and this chapter is probably really crappy there has just been so much on my mind lately with school and the possibilty of moveing and ive just been really busy with family matters. Its just all really hectic and your probly sick and tired of my writeing authors notes all the time sigh. I wouldnt expect a chapter every week so updates will be fairly random depending on my mood. Once again im sry guys! Dont hate me! Also i hope your dreams remian crystal clear.
