-Santana-

Dani and I are sitting in a booth with Rachel, Finn, Blaine, Kurt, Tina, Mike, Quinn, and Puck.

Rachel: So Dani did you figure out what you were going to do after you graduate?

Dani: Um, I actually submitted a application to NYU.

I look at Dani.

Santana: You want to go to New York?

Dani: I kind of do.

Kurt: Well did you hear from them? Rachel and I heard from NYADA.

Dani: I actually got a letter from them I haven't opened it yet.

Kurt: Well what are you waiting for?

Dani: I guess I was waiting for the right moment.

Quinn: Well this is the perfect time.

Dani nods her head and takes out the letter she opens it and reads it.

Dani: "We are proud to announce that you have been accepted to New York University."

I can't help my feel like I'm going to cry.

Rachel: Oh my God congrats Dani.

Kurt: Looks like you will be seeing Rachel and I in New York.

Dani: I guess so. Maybe you can try to get in babe.

Santana: I don't think so.

Dani: Why not? I mean I got in so you could too.

Santana: I was offered a scholarship to the University of Louisville in Kentucky.

Dani looks at me.

Dani: When was this?

Santana: The day that Coach Sylvester wanted to talk to me.

Dani: Why didn't you tell me?

Santana: Why didn't you tell me that you wanted to go to New York?

Dani: I wasn't even sure if I was going to get in and I was hoping that you and I could...

Santana: Could what? Go to New York together? Maybe I don't want to go to New York.

Dani: Do you want to go to Kentucky?

Santana: I do now since I know that you will be going to New York.

I get up and walk out of Breadstix I can't help but feel betrayed in a way and hurt. I can't believe that Dani did that. I get into my car and drive off.

-Dani-

I'm still sitting in the booth with the group. I'm trying to hold it together I can't believe that Santana is going to go to Kentucky. I mean don't get me wrong I'm happy for her I just wish that she would have told me. I feel a hand go on my shoulder I turn my head and see Quinn. I look around and notice that everyone had left except for Quinn.

Quinn: I'm happy for you Dani.

Dani: Thank you Quinn. I just wish that Santana was.

Quinn: I'm sure that she is she's just surprised that's all.

Dani: So am I. I had no idea that she got a scholarship.

Quinn: Maybe she was waiting for the right time to tell you.
