Surprise Gift

-Santana-

Dani and I just got back from having dinner together now we are getting ready for bed. Once I hit the bed I feel my eyes close and I fall alseep.

-Morning-

I wake up early to set up a surpise for Dani I get dressed and after that I write a note and set it on the bed next to her. I walk out of the hotel room and closing the door softly so I don't wake her up I walk to the lobby and I see Rachel and Kurt sitting at a table together. I walk up to them.

Kurt: Why are you up so early?

Santana: I want to setup a surprise for Dani.

Kurt: What kind of surprise?

I smile and take out the small box that has the ring in it. I hand it to Kurt and he opens it he gasps and so does Rachel.

Kurt: Oh wow that's pretty. Are you proposing to her?

Santana: No it's a promise ring.

Kurt: Awe that's sweet.

I hear Dani's voice.

Dani: What's sweet?

I quickly grab the box from Kurt and stick it into my pocket. I turn around and see that Dani is dressed I look her up and down. She is wearing shorts and a tank top.

Santana: Um, the uh...

Rachel: The chocolate muffins are sweet.

Kurt: Yeah they are like really really sweet.

I look back at Rachel and Kurt both of them shrug their shoulders. I look back at Dani.

Dani: So do you want to try that again?

I sigh.

Santana: I was going to surprise you, but seeing that you kind of caught me may as well give it to you now.

Dani: What is it?

I take put the box and open it she gasps.

-Dani-

When Santana open the small black velvet box I wasn't expecting a beautiful ring and I couldn't help the gasp that escaped my mouth. The ring has a single diamond on it and a gold band.

Dani: Is is that uh...

Santana: Its not an engagement ring. Its a promise ring. Its like my promise to marry you someday and to be faithful no matter what and I'll be there for you to dry your eyes and to hold you I'll be your rock when you need someone to lean on cause that's how much I love you.

I can't help then tears that roll down my face. I take the ring and put it on I kiss Santana.

Dani: I love you.

Santana: I love you too.

Santana and I kiss again.

Dani: I also have something for you.

Santana looks at me. I smile and reach into my pocket I take out a black velvet box. I hand it to her she opens it and gasps.

Dani: I guess that we had the same idea.

Santana: When did you have time to get this?

Dani: I have my ways and like you said it's a promise ring and I will also be faithful to you and be there for you cause I love you.

Santana: I love you too.

Santana and I kiss.
