Planning Summer Vacation

Okay this takes place after junior year it is summer break now just thought that I would put that out there.

-Dani-

Rachel, Finn, Kurt, Blaine, Santana and I are sitting down in Rachel's basement we are deciding where to go for summer vacation. Rachel wants to go to New York, Finn wants to go to California, Blaine and Kurt aren't sure where they want to go. 

Dani: What if we go to Cancun or something?

Blaine: I'm up for that.

Kurt: So am I.

Dani: What about the two of you?

Finn and Rachel look at each other and nod.

Dani: What do you think about going to Cancun Santana?

Santana: Yeah sounds great.

Rachel: We have to talk with our parents about it.

All of us agree to what Rachel said after we are done with that we just sit there and talk for a little bit. After about two hours of goofing around everyone decides to leave.

-Dani's Car-

I'm taking Santana back to her place I park the car next to the curb.

Santana: My mom isn't home if you want to come in you can.

Dani: I would love to but my mom is home and she wants to go out to dinner.

Santana looks down and starts playing with her hands

Santana: Okay.

Dani: But maybe I can come over later?

Santana looks up and smiles.

Santana: Okay.

Se unbuckles herself and kisses me on the cheek. She opens the door and gets out before she shuts the door she looks in.

Santana: I love you.

Dani: I love you too babe.

Santana smiles and shuts the door I look over and she waves I wave back. I make my way back to my house. Once I am to my house I park my car into the driveway and get out.

-Outside-

I make my way up the pathway and open the door.

-Inside-

Once I am inside I take my jacket off and hang it up and I take my shoes off. I look around and notice that the tv is on in the living room so I walk in and see my mom on the couch with my dad. I stop in my tracks and just stare at the two of them.

Dani: What is he doing here?

Hank: I came here to talk Danielle.

Dani: It's Dani.

Hank: All right Dani.

I sit on the chair and cross my arms.

Dani: Well talk.

Hank: I know that we haven't exactly been getting along.

Dani: Obviously.

Hank: Look this is isn't easy for me all right? It isn't easy having a daughter that is a...

Dani: That is what? A lesbian? It's okay to say it dad it won't kill you.

My dad takes a deep breath in and lets it out.

Hank: It's not easy for me to say it because I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that you are in a relationship with a girl.

Dani: Look if you are here to call me a dyke again or judge my life style you can leave.

Hank: I'm not here to call you a dyke or judge you I am here to tell you that I am willing to try to accept your life style. Which is why I want you and Santana to come over to my place to have dinner.

Dani: You want Santana there?

Hank: I just said that didn't I?

Dani: When do you want us there?

Hank: Well I know that it's summer vaction and your mom had told me that you and your friends are planning on going somewhere.

Dani: Yeah we want to go to Cancun.

Helen: In Mexico?

Dani: Yeah if that's okay with you mom.

Helen: I  don't know honey that's kind of far don't you think?

Dani: Mom please I will check in every hour heck I'll check in every minute if I have to.

Hank: I say you let her go Helen remember when we went there for spring break it was amazing.

Helen: Yeah and we also drank while we were there.

Dani: I won't drink mom.

My mom looks at me and raises her eyebrow.

Helen: I don't know.

Dani: Will you at least think about it?

Helen: Yes I'll think about it.

Dani: Oh and about the dinner I'll talk to Santana about it and see what she says.

Hank: I apperciate that.

Dani: Was that everything?

Hank: Yes.

Dani: All right.

I get up and go up to my room.
