Picking Out a Song

*The Next Day*

-Dani-

-Library-

Liv and I are trying to come up with a song to sing in Glee Club. Quinn and Santana are with us too. It was Quinn's idea to be with us which I am thankful for.

Liv: We could sing Don't You Wanna Stay by Jason Aldean featuring Kelly Clarkson I mean we already sang that for the talent show in Texas but I sang Kelly's part and you sang Jason's. This time I could sing Jason's and you Kelly's.

Dani: That's the kind of song that a couple sings and we are not a couple anymore.

Liv: Jason and Kelly aren't a couple and they sang it.

I sit there and think.

Dani: All right fine.

Liv: Awesome and we could even do little dances.

Dani: I don't want to dance I just want to sing.

Liv: Oh all right anyways I have to go Coach Sylvester is holding cheerleading try outs and I want to try out. Oh and they are going to be holding softball try outs soon you should try out and one other thing I love the hickey.

Liv gets up and winks at me as she leaves.

Santana: She is so not getting on the squad.

Dani: She was on the cheerleading squad in Texas.

Santana: Just cause she was on the squad in Texas doesn't mean that she will get on the squad here.

Dani: She's good San and she can manipulate people.

Santana: Just like she manipulated you in doing that song?

Dani: It doesn't mean anything San we are just singing and in case you forgotten I don't have a choice I have to sing with her.

I get up and grab my bag I leave the libary.

-Santana-

I watch as Dani leaves I look over and see Quinn looking at me.

Santana: What?

Quinn: Are you trying to push Dani into Liv's arms?

Santana: Of course not.

Quinn: Why don't you dial the anger down than? I mean come on San its not Dani's fault that she has to sing with her ex.

Santana: I just don't want to lose Dani.

Quinn: You won't unless you keep blaming her for this situation.

Santana: All right let's just pick out a damn song to sing.

Quinn and I continue to go through songbooks until we find the perfect song. After we find the song we exit the library.

-Hallway-

Quinn and I walk down the hallway and I see Dani talking with Kurt as we walk pass she looks at me then looks back at Kurt ouch that hurt she didn’t even smile at me. She must be really mad at me. Quinn and I enter the choir room.

-Choir Room-

Quinn and I sit in our regular seats Dani comes in with Kurt and sits next to him and Rachel. Mr. Schuester comes into the room.
