I was playing a game with Ceas. Chest and gosh he's winning from me everytime. I pouted and looked at me. 'That's like... the tenth time you're winning from me,' I scoffed and sat back. A smile pulled up on his lips. I twitched my ears and pointed one to the door as I heard footsteps. Dad walked in. 'Are you two coming for lunch?' he asked. I gave a small nod, 'yeah, we will be down in a minute,' I replied and looked at Ceas. Sometimes he has that intense look that makes me shiver. 'What are you thinking?' I asked. Ceas got up and offered me his hand, hoisting me up before he started gesturing. 'You should talk to him.' I sighed. 'Yeah, I know... I just want to see if I can fix the bullying on my own first,' I said. He gave me a look and passed me. 'You don't agree?' I asked. He shook his head. 'You only get into more trouble,' he gestured. I swiped my tail frantically in frustration. 'Little bit of trust, Ceas. I can handle it,' I said and nudged his side before I sprinted downstairs.

The ape followed me and settled beside me. 'So, who won?' Charles asked, looking at both of us. I pointed at Ceas. 'What do you think,' I scoffed. The ape looked at me, a playful twinkle appeared in his eyes. I handed Ceas the milk before I grabbed the bread. 'Someone was at the door...' I looked up and so did Ceas. 'Thomas?' he asked. 'Him?' I exclaimed and looked out of the window. 'Something going on between you two?' Ceas signed. 'No, gosh no...' I said, shaking my head and looking down. My face flushed. Ceas hoothed and nutched my side. 'Stop...' I looked down at the table. 'Are you sure?' Dad asked. I waved my hand, 'nothing to worry about,' I mocked and brushed it off.

After lunch, Ceas sprinted after me upstairs and pinned me down before he started singing. 'The male? Why flustered?'

'It's a bit of an embarrassing story,' I signed back. He cocked his head to the side. 'Come, I'll tell you.' Ceas got off of me and followed me into my room where I locked the door. 'He's new... and... I bumped into him. Soda all over his chest and ever since... I am trying to avoid him,' I said. Ceas stared at me for a few minutes. 'And other girls told me to stay away from him so...' I said and shrugged. Ceas still stared at me. 'What?' I asked. He rolled his eyes, 'The boy likes you...' he said. I sighed. 'I am a little careful around guys... they usually only like to get to me because of my ears and tail. It's not the first time,' I said and sat down next to him. He hugged me before he jumped back on the ground.

I got up as well and sat down on the window sill, watching the street. I turned my ear as I heard something. A mouse. I lowered myself, looking at the mouse before I lunged at it and grabbed it. 'Honestly, you are good at playing chest and I keep the rodents away,' I said, dandling the mouse in front of him. He snorted, I opened the window and jumped, landing agile on the ground. The mouse fled into the bushes as soon as I let go of it. I looked up to the window where Caesar was watching me. Sometimes he freaked me out the way he was looking at me. An intense look. I climbed up the wall and stopped in front of the window. 'So, I was thinking... shall we go to the woods?" I asked. Ceas leaned onto the window sill before gesturing. 'Don't you have homework to do?'

'Since when do you remind me of that?' I asked. 'Since you're avoiding doing your homework,' he said.'Important,' he added. I opened my mouth to reply as I heard my name. 'Heather!?' I looked down. 'What uhm... are you doing?' I jumped on the ground and approached Thomas. I felt a slight blush creep up on my face 'I was climbing up the wall... what are you doing here?' I asked. He shrugged and walked a circle around me. 'I just wanted to have a better look at you,' he said. I curled my tail around my leg. 'Isn't it annoying?' he asked. 'Uhm, no... I learned to live with it,' I said. He grabbed my tail. Quickly, I stepped back. 'Are you only here for my tail and ears?' I asked. He shrugged, 'I have never seen such a thing before,' he said.Thomas isn't here because he wants to know me better. 'I have to go...' I mumbled and turned around.

'Heather...'

I stopped and turned around while he walked up to me. 'How did you get them? The tail and ears?' he asked. 'I don't like talking about it,' I replied. He blocked my way, 'but I would like to know,' he said and gave me a push. Enough to make me collapse on the ground. I heard Caesar hooth angrily before he jumped from the window. Thomas backed off while Ceaser stood in his full height, giving him the same look he had been giving me a couple of days prior. That intense look. 'Is that your pet?' he asked. 'He's not a pet!' I snapped. Caesar growled and walked up to Thomas. 'Ey, call him back,' Thomas snarled. Caesar narrowed his eyes. 'Just go, Thomas,' I snapped. Caesar raised his hand and pointed at the road. Thomas quickly turned around and ran off.

Caesar turned around and offered me his hand, hoisting me up. 'Thanks.' He gave a small nod and walked over to the wall climbing all the way up back to my room. I quickly followed him. 'You see... guys don't like me... only because I have a tail and ears,' I sighed. Caesar sighed, 'don't worry, not all friends are fake,' he signed. I smiled and sat down behind my bureau. 'Well, because you insisted, I'll be doing my homework,' I mocked. He snorted and shook his head, 'but...' he looked at me. 'Tonight I'll beat you in playing chest,' I stated. He smirked a little before raising his hands to sign. 'We will see about that.'
