"Did you seriously just do that?" Skylar hissed, squeezing my arm as I dragged her down the hallway. I didn't respond mostly because I knew if I did, I'd just be cut off by more questions. And plus, I didn't want to make her even more upset then she already was. I may not cuss, but my smart mouth is just as bad.
I waited silently as she shoved the bathroom door shut and spin around to face me, her hair swaying behind her. "What on earth were you thinking?" she asked, more demanding then I've ever seen her. "Answer me!" she demands when I stay quiet. Not even three seconds had passed before she began violently shaking my shoulders, until I flinched away.
She gives me an apologizing look as I step back and cross my arms.
"I just can't believe you actually did that to NOAH ASHER." Skylar says, her hands covering the tops of her head.
"Do you even hear me," she puffed through her braces. "or are you just not listening?" she finishes. Just keep quiet, Lola. Just listen to her whine and it'll all go away.
"Do you even know about all the gossip that's going around?" she asks, her face going oddly serious. I didn't know and to be completely honest, I didn't want to know. Let the world know I yelled at Noah Asher.
It's not like the world is actually going to care.
Just my school....
I shake my head and shrug. "Can we go to lunch?" I ask, bored with the conversation. She begins to pace, her hands palming her cheeks as if the world was actually going to end. She stops mid step and gives me an 'are you serious' look before grabbing her bag and shuffling out of the bathroom. I sigh, silently following her.

I hummed lightly to myself as I close my door to my room shut. I drop my bag off on my desk chair and watched as it rolled slightly due to the wheels underneath.
My teddy bear, Blu, waited patiently on my bed, his big grey eyes staring at the ceiling. I go to grab him and hold his at arms reach. "My day was awful. But how about yours?" I say and stare at his bluish-black fur. 'Okay, maybe I am going crazy' I thought to myself as I realized I was talking to a stuff animal. I toss him back onto the bed and grab my bag to start on some homework.
A couple boring minutes pass before I'm interrupted by my ringing IPhone 6.
I answer it, groaning playfully as I read the caller ID. My best guy friend, Jason.
"Don't huff and puff at me, young lady. I have important news to tell you." he says and I can hear the frown forming on his face.
"Whatever Jason. Go on." I say, shaking my head. "Well first, I miss you!" he says, all playful anger gone. I grin, laying my head on my pillow and sigh. "I miss you too, Jay..."
See, the thing is, Jason's gay. But he's funny and charming in his own way. And.. he lives all the way in Dallas, Texas. He just moved there with his cousins because his mom died and his dad didn't want anything to do with a gay son.
"Yay! And the thing is I met this guy..." he whispers. I grin as my mom pokes her head in my door. She holds out something big and short and I gasp instantly. "Oh my gosh, Jay, I'm so happy for you. But I gotta go... My moms bugging about something." I say and give my mother an inward glare. She smiles and pushed my door open all the way as I hang up.
"Mom! What did I tell you?! I do not wanna go to this stupid dance!" I say, sitting up in my bed.
"Well now I'm giving you no choice. Get up, this dress isn't gonna put itself on you." my mom says, unzipping the bag containing the dress.
