It's been 2 months since cyrus got back and we found out about the pregnancy, it's been hard with all the diabetes and getting back together with cyrus but it also has been amazing, seeing my stomach grow and cyrus getting all excited about the whole being a dad thing.
"are you ready?" he asks me as we pull into the hospitals parking lot, today we are having the 6 month ultrasound and we're also finding out the gender, "i'm ready, let's do this" i tell him.
he takes my hand and we walk all the way to the doctors office, just before we walk in cyrus gives me a reassuring squeeze and we go in.
"this is going to feel a little cold" the doctor says before putting a gel in my stomach, he then begins swirling a little thing around, then suddenly we see two feet, then the torso and finally the head, i look at cyrus and he's crying, a tear escapes his eyes, "do you want to know the gender?" the doctor asks, we both nod.
we decided on waiting to know the gender until i was 6 months along so that we could be certain that the gender is right, because i know that in the moment cyrus knows what we're having he's going to buy a shit ton of stuff.
"alright you're having a boy" the doctor says, cyrus crashes his lips on mine before saying "hell yeah!", the doctor laughs at us, then he asks us if we want some pictures, to what we say yes.

cyrus and i are just staring into the picture in front of us while the doctor prints a whole sequence for us.
We both are in the clouds, this is exactly what we needed, to have something knock us of our feet enough to bring us together again.
This afternoon we are announcing what gender is the baby, only the two of us know the gender and i for sure am excited to tell everyone.
With some help from a place that makes baby shower's and big announcements we where able to pull off an amazing gender reveal mini party.
