Chapter 17: The Joy Of Life.

(1 week later)
I didn't expect it to happen so fast but next thing I know I'm waiting outside a hospital room because yes, shes giving birth. I was sweating like crazy and I guess everyone around me could tell. It was just me, Blitz, Moxxie, and his wife Millie. "I'm proud of you kiddo," the boss said to me slapping my back. I gripped onto the couch that I was sitting on when a nurse came out and said "Which on of you is the father." I raised my paw and the nurse gestured me to follow her inside. I got up incredibly nervous and I took a deep breath and there they were, Loona was lying in the bed crying with happiness as she held our baby in her paws. I took a sigh of relief and walked over, kneeling down Loona said to our baby "Look buddy, its daddy", the baby turned its head and stared at me. "Alex, we have a baby boy." Loona said to me wiping some tears.
"What do you wanna name him?"
"How does Onyx sound?" Loona said
"Onyx huh, I like it"
"This is our son Alex, he has your fur colors. Looks like a little fox."
"He's got your eyes, Loona I'm so proud of you for being strong even if this month hasn't been so kind to you." I held Onyx in the arms and cradled him, giving him back to Loona so she could feed him, I looked out the big window and took a breathe in as a new chapter was about to begin. The doctor gave me my sons birth certificate and took him so he can get his shots to prevent any diseases. I grabbed a chair and held Loona's paw.
"How you feeling?" I asked her
"Not to horrible, now that we have Onyx all my fears about what that Vortex guy did aren't scaring me anymore."
"Good, when we get to go home I have a big surprise for us, I was gonna wait till Christmas but I think it's better now."
"I love you Alex with all my heart."
"I love you more Loona." The doctor came back in and gave Onyx back to us. Yea Onyx was crying to Loona breastfed him so he could quite down. We got a breakdown of everything medical related for Onyx and that if Loona was feeling good enough then we could go home. Loona slowly sat up and I asked her if she was ready, She said yes and I picked up Onyx and helped Loona up and put my arm around her and we walked outside the room and the boss, moxxie, and millie had the biggest smiles.
