Chapter 22: First steps

Loona and I walked inside to find Onyx scribbling on some paper with his new markers. Loona went and sat down with him watching him scribble while I sat on the couch and started setting up some of the new gaming systems I just got. After a few minutes handling through the process I felt Loona aggressively tapping me. "What?" I said and she pointed at the camera. Grabbing the camera I turned it on and started filming while looking at her in confusion. "Alex, look Onyx is walking!" she whispered. I looked at Onyx and holy shit she was right. Loona finally let out her excitement and started clapping and Onyx started to giggle. "You did baby! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you!" She said while throwing him up in the air. "I can't believe that just happened, wait Loona set him down see if he will do it again." I told her and she did. Loona and I ushered him to walk to us and he did. Onyx got to about half way then he got on all fours again. Looking at the recording I made sure to never lose this moment. All of us settling down on the couch Loona asked "hey Alex I wanna ask you two things."
"Yea sure go ahead," I said tussling Onyx's fur
"Well for one can we have a family movie night? I can order us some food for us all to eat also."
"Yes we can but your cute ass isn't paying."
"But I wanna pay, you always pay!"
"Cuz it's kind of like a code"
"Hmph fine"
"So what was the second thing"
"I wanna do nicknames, I mean were engaged now with a child and we still only call each other by our first names."
"Thats true, I'm on board with that idea,"
"I'm gonna start calling you babe or honey now, ok?"
"Bet, well for my case I'll either call you what the boss calls you aka Loonie, and probably the same things that your going to do to me." We both started to kiss and then Onyx started squirming and spitting everywhere. I picked him up and started to tickle him.
