Sakusa Kiyoomi's life was everything but fun. He was either always in the hospital, or in his clinic. As a doctor, he was obligated to stay within the paramedic white walls and heal his patients to his best ability.
However, when his cousin Komori Motoya, drags him to a volleyball league reunion with all the schools they played against in their high school years, a little spice was added onto his life.
To add to that, he crosses paths with a certain Miya who he claims he doesn't quite remember as they've never been close in high school for two reasons: one, he was from another school; and two, sakusa doesn't remember irrelevant people in general.
As the outgoing Miya Atsumu insists that they used to be close in high school due to national training camps spent together in Tokyo and the ever-introverted Sakusa Kiyoomi denying ever single declaration, their encounters after the reunion become more and more frequent.
Little encounters turn to little flirting episodes. And little flirting episodes blossom to something more.
However, not all stories are pleasantly heartwarming like they are in television or movies. A huge emotional wave of anguish soon envelops their lives as secrets begin to reveal themselves, tearing what they hoped would be their forever.
