' Damn it beyonder! We are not your playthings, ' thought Spiderman furiously. He has been facing shit for the last 1 month, his life has gone downhill.
His body was hijacked by Otto Octavius and slandered his reputation. By the time he gained his body back, it was too late. The so-called hero society shunned him and the people, for whom he devoted most of his life, turned their backs on him and started asking for his head. The X-men and the mutants banned him from ever coming to the mansion. The fantastic four, whom he considered family, turned their backs on him even going far as to not let him meet Valeria and Franklin. The defenders maintained their distance from him and Miles, his prodigy also turned his back on him, he got a big head as he was backed by the Avengers as the new Spider-man.
' Huh as if they could ever replace the original,' thought Peter selfishly as he dodged the fireballs from the monster but a stray fireball collided with his chest as he flew and collided with the rubble of a building.
Not only his social and personal life has gone to hell but he was facing post-trauma of body-swapping, he is facing an identity crisis after gaining his body back, sometimes he gets brutal like otto when he was spiderman, he sometimes thinks of himself as superior.
The remaining personality of Octavius is seeping into his conscious mind that he had locked away. He gets himself confused whether if he is Peter Parker or Otto Octavius?. The problems are causing him to get angry, sometimes he becomes egotistical and sometimes suicidal. The treatment given to him by others and society is making him reckless as he can feel himself becoming careless during fights, he is starting to ignore his spider-sense in fights this resulting in him getting more injured than before.
Every day is a fight between his heart and mind, the mind wants him to think logically, to stop catering to the unrealistic demands of society and rest in peace but his heart always reminds him of his duty and responsibility and he was tired of the constant battles within his body.
He laid there on the ground and stared at the sky emotionlessly, but a giant silhouette walked towards him.
