Rewriting: Princess Elise

Alright, the most hated character of them all. This is gonna be difficult. Fortunately, I've got some inspiration by this amazing person:

He already got the bad stuff out of the way, but I'll do it for insurance:

Why is she Hated:
She's the stereotypical damsel in distress, getting kidnapped not one, not two, not three, but five times in the same day, she's not interesting, and she's not well written. And the less I forget, dare I say it, the infamous..... KiSs. Which is the main reason why I hated her at first. She had so much potential and the creators just threw it out like it was nothing. So in my project, I shall give her the second chance she deserves:

Backstory:
Princess Elise Von Asterius the III is a secret half-phoenix born from the secret hybrid royal family of Soleanna, being the daughter of Secret half-phoenix Duchess Oliga and half-falcon Duke Gilbert the II and niece of half-chakora princess Jasmine.
One day, her mother passed away from a fatal unknown disease, saddening the entire kingdom, Elise most of all. Gilbert comforted his daughter, by saying: "Your a good girl, Elise. Remember, be brave. And don't give in to despair, no matter what happens."

After the queen's passing, Jasmine took care of her niece with flight practice and teachings of their culture, including the Sun festival, where two royals that represent the sun and moon honor their sun god that starts by sunset, where the royal that represents the moon "steals a piece of the sun and gives it to the moon with the Scepter of Light" while the royal that represents the sun "ignites the torch of Hope with the fire within them, and lights the cauldron to thank Solaris for protecting us"

Gilbert teaches her about the flame of hope Solaris and his intentions of the Solaris Project to use its power to avoid past sins and grave mistakes, and also a chance to see their mother again, in which fills both his daughter and younger sister with hope.

However, when she was 7, the project went out of control and Solaris blew up the aquatic lab, killing almost everyone in it, knocking her unconscious and mortally injuring Gilbert, along with giving birth to Iblis (the raw power), Mephiles (the conscious mind) and an unknown entity that went by the name Inerste (the compassionate soul).
After Shadow got the scepter of darkness, Jasmine was horrified at the sight and ran to get help after Gilbert explained to her what he is forced to do and begged her not to tell Elise about it.

As soon as Silver was able to paralyze Iblis with his abilities, with the Torch of Hope and the Chaos Emerald of Wish, Gilbert weakly performed the ritual in his falcon form, giving the young half-phoenix a flame looking stone in her chest, sealing Iblis, but at the cost of her emotions.

As Silver watched in horror as he was given Elise, she slowly gained a enough consciousness to see her father as a half-falcon for the first time. With the last of his strength, he apologized at what he had to do, and explained what the sealing did to her, and told her to be brave, or else her tears of despair would awake the flames inside of her, and with his dying breath, he told her to live happily, as she got unconscious again right when he passed away right in front of them.

Soon after, Jasmine meets the two hedgehogs and is shaken by the horrible news, sobbing silently. Shadow then explains that Elise must not know about the scepter, and Silver explains what Gilbert did, and gives the half-phoenix the blue Chaos Emerald of Cosmos, stating that it's a lucky charm, before the two head back to the present, with Jasmine taking the decision of becoming the new duchess and raise Elise as her own until she's old enough to take the throne.

Personality:
Unlike the other characters, Elise will be a completely emotionless being that has her emotions locked thanks to Iblis' sealing, explaining her pale appearance and dull eyes. And she will not be your stereotypical damsel in distress.

Because of her emotions being locked ever since her father died, she did everything she could to shock her emotions back, like mountain climbing, riding rollercoasters, scuba diving and other daredevil things, giving her an adventurous and daring side, while being unintentionally cold, apathetic, sarcastic and easily unimpressed, taking threatening and kidnapping completely useless against her. However, Silver can give her a strong sense of panic, since he is in her visions, in which is shown that she runs off from him before the fight between him and Sonic started.

She will keep her bravery, accepting anything people ask her to do, only to try and shock her emotions back (excluding sexual activities and heavy drugs and challenges that can kill) and taking her aunt's words "A true queen never cowers from danger" to heart and was willing to sacrifice herself to Dr. Eggman when they first met.

She will also be a conscious and very honest person, as she is very aware of people fearing her of her powers and inability to control them, and explains that she would rather die than rule in fear. She will also not trust anyone except her family, because when she did, she was shunned and feared, and constantly bullied due to not reacting at all like a normal being, and is the person she currently is because she took everything her family told her to heart, from never giving in to despair no matter what, to never cowering from the danger, making her altruistic person, something she has in common with the President of the Overlands, Sara Ovalain, in which the princess grows fond of.

Potential:
I'm not sure Elise will have much appearances, hence find potential, but being a monarch is already no joke, but maybe she'll assist the freedom fighters with her energy field that she eventually learned to control by taking the words "you don't control me, I control you." To heart.
She will also use her half-phoenix form to escape through jumping off of high cliffs with dr. Eggman, sometimes with one of the other hostages like Sara and Jasmine.

Design:
And now, the design. I think nothing is bad about it, except that she's a human.

So like Honey the Cat and Terios Whipple, she'll be a secret-hybrid, but unlike the others, who are regular hybrids, she is a mystic hybrid, the rarest kind of hybrid, above chimera hybrids. And phoenix is one of them.
