Harry's p.o.v

I was sitting or slouching rather in Mcgonagall's class when Percy dashed into the classroom with Malfoy right behind him. "Mr. Jackson and Mr. Malfoy, would you please care to explain as to why the two of you were late?" Asked Mcgonagall with a very disapproving visage. "Sorry we're late Professor. I was just giving Percy a tour." said Malfoy.

I was so surprised to hear this that I almost fell out of my seat. This is Malfoy right? After that the two of them slid into the seat next to Hermione. Why the hell would Malfoy sit in the same seat as Hermione?

I also noticed that Percy and Malfoy were talking in hushed tones. I only managed to catch words like 'demigod' and 'Poseidon' and other godly terms from Percy's world. Why in the blazes would he tell Malfoy his biggest secret? Things were starting to get really weird. What the hell was going on? I looked over at Percy who in turn looked at me and mouthed: later.

I was too distracted to pay attention for the rest of the class and the moment Mcgonagall dismissed us, I cornered Percy and Malfoy immediately. They were standing outside the classroom, laughing about God knows what. "What are you playing at Malfoy? If this is some other trick-" I spat at him but was cut short by a glare from Percy that shut me up. "Whoa there Harry, cut the guy some slack and listen before coming to an abrupt conclusion." said Percy sharply.

The sharp tone in his voice had an underlying warning in it telling me to not push it and I knew better than to go against it so I settled for crossing my arms across my chest and flashing Malfoy a demanding look. He heaved a defeated sigh and began to tell his story:

"I think I owe you'll an explanation. When I was young, I wasn't allowed a normal childhood like other kids. I had to sit and learn about the dark arts and various sectors of dark magic while else played outside. I was strictly told to not associate with those who weren't purebloods. My father made sure that I followed his orders one way or another. You'll might have known me as a spoilt, aristocratic brat but that is all my made up identity. That's not who I really am." he explained melancholically. I was about to ask him why in the world would we believe him but he beat me to it. "At the beginning of the year, I was told that his grandson would be arriving at Hogwarts on Dumbledore's request. You-Know-Who wanted me to find out all about Percy and his powers. I found Percy on the train, sitting with you guys which was when I realised that this mission of mine is screwed and so I tried avoiding him. That was my greatest mistake."

"What do you mean it was your greatest mistake?" Asked ever inquisitive Hermione. "He did a lot of horrible, unspeakable things. He punished me with nightmares and reopened the psychological trauma of my past which I had sealed away. The Cruciatus curse was one of his personal favorites though." Wow. I thought. And to think I was the only one who had felt pain. "So what happened then?" Asked Ron, skepticism evident in his tone.

If Malfoy noticed his distrust, he didn't say anything about it but just continued. "Last night, I had one of the worst nightmares ever. He threatened to kill me if I didn't comply to his wishes. All the other nightmares were full of torture but last night was terrible. He wants me to become one of them but I will just not follow into my father's footsteps." he said resolutely. "So you're not a death eater yet?" I asked, somewhat confused and rueful since I had so assertively told Ron and Hermione that Malfoy was a death eater. "I'm not and I never will be." he stated firmly. "Thats right. Nothing can go wrong now. We're all a team now and besides, we have Percy now. He'll be there no matter what." said Hermione confidently and I felt that pang of jealousy hit me again. Ron and Hermione had always turned to me whenever a situation arose but now everyone, even Malfoy looked at Percy for reassurance and orders. I then mentally chided myself for thinking that way. They were my all friends and I couldn't let such thoughts brainwash me so I quickly pushed it away.
