9. Happy birthday Aya-chan~

Author's note-

The picture above is the most similar thing to our always-sleeping-in-class protagonist Leiko-chan's birthday present outfit. I decided to update earlier than usual because I won't be able to update for another week and a half, or maybe two after this. Sorry guys, but Enjoy the chapter!

Leiko

I walked up the dirt track that leads to our classroom earlier then usual, slightly shivering in my short sleeves, hoping that I will be able to complete the homework I forgot about yesterday night. "I'm so terrible at school..." I mumble as I got into the building where our class is, hugging myself. I stretched and semi slammed open the classroom door, stepping inside the empty- not so empty room. A black box like thing sat in the back corner of the room behind a desk. What the hell is that? As I started to walk closer to it Nagisa, Sugino and Okajima-kun walked in behind me, and the screen that took up about one fourth of the front of the black box lit up.

"Good morning. As of today, I will be attending this school. I am the 'Autonomously thinking fixed artillery'." it said, the graphic of a beautiful girl with lilac hair and brilliant blue orbs opened and closed it's mouth. "It is a pleasure to meet you."

The day passed with Autonomously thinking fixed artillery firing thousands of BB bullets through several high tech guns at Korosensei throughout all six sessions. Every time, she improved a tiny bit by analyzing Korosensei's movements and reactions, it was unexpected and for the first time, we realised that she may be just able to end Korosensei's life. Although I strongly object. The constant firing made it ten times harder to study, and I was right next to her, meaning I could hear the gun shots clearly and the several guns firing BB bullets for the whole day irritated me to the core.

Especially since it is my birthday. I stare at my hands while I packed my bag at the end of the day, getting ready to go.

I'm not expecting anything. I know I won't get anything from Mrs Akito, the middle age women who took me in when she saw me on the streets, cause my foster family is currently in bad economical conditions, and no one else probably knew. Apart from Rio-chan, but then she might have forgot through all this hectic assassination classroom fun and excitement. Maybe I should go to the book store to read the new books for a change instead of doing extra house chores and homework. Actually, never mind. I sigh, I'll just go about the day as normal...

"Aya-chan~" Heh?! No one ever calls me that apart from Rio and mum and Onee-san-

"Karma?!" I stare at him and his annoying smirk that is inches apart from my face. Holy, when did he get there?! "What are you doing going around calling me Aya-"

"Eh? Don't you like it? It's your last name and it means colourful in Japanese~ Just like your face. It's pink." He added, and poked my cheek.

"Ha-hands off you baka!" I slapped his finger away as he stuck his tongue out. I feel a slight blush rising on my face and shook my head quickly, what... "What are you doing?"

"Eh?" He tilted his head and stepped aside. "It's your birthday, isn't it?"

"Happy birthday Leiko!" Everyone shouted. Rio, Megu, Kayano-chan, Nagisa, Sugino-kun, Isogai-kun, Maehara-kun, Yada-san, Hinata-san... literally everyone in class E stood in front of me, including a big yellow creature, Korosensei.

"How..." I'm speechless once again. This doesn't happen to me much. "How did you guys know?" I uttered, even though I knew the answer and is fully aware that I sounded stupid.

"Obviously, I told them." Rio fanned herself with my text book, "You can't miss out on your birthday, it's a once a year special occasion!" She grinned at me.
