A/N: Super sorry for the delay in this chapter. I have just had so much on my plate lately. However here it is! Also this one is a bit shorter then normal, but I think you will like it. Hopefully...

Dinner was delicious and Asami was surprised at Daemon's cooking skills. Which when he admitted it made Daemon laugh while they did the dishes. "Do you want to start by asking me something first or should I?" Daemon asked as they got comfortable on the couch. Asami was warming up to him, but decided to sit on the other side of the couch. Old habits are hard to break. "Technically you just did." He replied with a shit eating grin, which made Daemon roll his eyes. "So, um, how long have you been the Alpha?" Asami asked timidly. "My dad passed the pack down tome two years ago." Daemon told him and he could feel the pride rolling off Daemon in waves.

He watched as Daemon shifted in his seat. He was nervous as to what Daemon would ask him first. "Before you were kicked out. Where did you live? You don't have to give the address just a general area is fine." Daemon asked after a moment of silence. "I grow up in the middle Tennessee area south of Nashville. The area I lived in was a very god fearing community." He told Daemon bitterly. His home was in a very rich part of the city which had made it even worse. "Are your parent from there as well?" Daemon asked cautiously, he didn't want to push to far and have Asami to shut down and not open up to him.

"My dad was born there, but his family is originally from Japan. My mother moved there with her parents from Japan when she was nine." He answered. "I am going to assume they held strong to their cultural customs and values?" Daemon asked cautiously. "You are correct. Especially my mom's side. Her parents were born and raised in Japan. They never really liked my dad, he was only half Japaneses. So it didn't sit well with them." As he explained this he watched as Daemon's expression changed to confusion.

"Only half?" Daemon questioned. Asami thought his confused expression was cute. "So my dad was born in Japan, but my mom was from here. They met while she was in the Army." He told him. "That explains it. Do you want to ask a few questions now? I don't want to over stress you tonight." Daemon asked him with a concerned look. He watched as Asami thought about his question. Asami had so many questions he wanted ask and honestly didn't know where to start. "So, um what is it like being the Alpha?" he asked as curiosity got the better of him.

Daemon chuckled before answering. "Its both interesting and challenging. Overall its a rewarding job, but in all honesty it can be overwhelming. Thankfully I have Sam to help keep things in order and help problem solve when I need it." Asami could feel the respect for Sam and the love of his pack roll off Daemon in waves. He was enjoying there conversation, but was getting tired. He tried to stifle a yawn but failed. "I think its time for bed, would you like to sleep with me? I promise I won't try anything if you don't want me too. I really just want to hold you in my arms tonight." Daemon ask him.

Asami hesitantly search Daemon's eyes looking for any sign of lying, but when he found none he agreed. The smile at joy in Daemon's eyes had his heart pounding rapidly. The things Daemon's smile did to him. Daemon was the first to stand and offered him his hand, which he took meekly. Gasping and giggling when Daemon pulled him up and into a bear hug. "By the Goddess you feel so great in my arms." Daemon said as he nuzzled his neck causing his face to heat up as he blushed. Without another word Daemon pulled him into the bed room.

The room was beautifully designed. In the middle of the room was a king sized bed that was neatly made with crimson and black bedding. Nestled in the corner was a small sitting area that consisted of two chairs and a coffee table. They sat in front of a set of french doors leading to a small balcony. On the other of the room were two doors, one leading to a spacious bathroom and the other to a walk in closet. Hanging on the wall across from the bed was a TV and sound bar. Like the rest of the pack house it held a homey feel and was warm and inviting.
